At astro.com I did a synastry chart and looked at the pdf tables. There seem to be a lot of boxes in the graph with just a ' in them, no numbers or anything else. What does that mean? Theres 64 of them. IP: Logged |

Huh. I have never noticed that before, but I'm baffled too. I pulled up that PDF chart for my chart and someone else, and ther's little aposthropes in some of empty boxes, above degree numbers for some of the aspects, and aside the house numbers of some of my planets. I honestly don't know. I can't figure it out. IP: Logged |

I've managed to open it, so I hope it will work for you too.I clicked with the right click on the link for PDF tables, and it gave me few options...open..open in new window..and others. I clicked the one "open in new window", and I got tables with latitudes and declinations, together with aspects between two charts. Good luck, I really hope it will work for you too! Strange, when I wanted to open it by simple click, I got the same as you; just boxes with ', but when I opened it in a new window, I got, as I said, latitudes and declinations, and a table with aspects between charts.. Love xxx IP: Logged |

I've always gotten the lists and charts and declinations and everything, I did it your way and got the same thing.I don't think you're understanding what I'm asking. I want to know what the ' in some of the boxes in the aspect table mean, there are the usual astrology glyphs and orb values in the other boxes I don't know what the ' on its own means.

For example, there is a ' in the box of the table that is the aspect between his mercury and my moon.My moon is leo 23deg (10degN declination) His mercury is pisces 27deg (13degS declination) I can't see why anything at all is in that box, but the ' is there. IP: Logged |

I don't have an explanation, I just wanted to say that I've noticed it and been wondering about it too.. IP: Logged |

Oh, ok..I understand now.. I thought you had problems with opening it, cause I couldn't open it myself, and all that was giving me was ' with no aspects or nothing, but when I opened it in a different way I got everything (aspects and orbs), + these little '.. Probably some problem with my computer lol... However..haven't got a clue what ' means.. IP: Logged |

Oz,This indicates aspects which have a very large orb (see, even Astro.com knows its orbs are too wide! ). Here is a quote from Astro.com's website: quote: The apostrophe shown with some aspects of the additional tables marks those aspects which have a large orb (above 50% of maximum orb), and which should probably be ignored. By doubling the number of planets, the probability of an aspect is increased, and orbs should be reduced accordingly. This is true for any chart which is the result of a combination of two different charts.

Tim, thanks but that doesn't explain why it appears in empty boxes, along side the house number for the planets, or above aspects that aren't too wide. BTW, I only get this with teh synastry pdf. chart, not for natal. Perhaps it's a bug in the system, dunno. IP: Logged |

Nymph,I just now created a synastry chart, but didn't have this problem. Maybe it is a bug in the system. Or maybe Mercury's retrograde! Retrograding, Tim IP: Logged |
