Hello, I know that when male/female planets get together in synastry it usually spells attraction. But what if it's the female with all the masculine planets(Mars, Uranus, Pluto, Sun) and the male with the soft planets(Venus, Neptune, Moon), do you think this lessens the attraction or does it make it even stronger? I don't think this topic has been brought up like this. Or does it depend on how comfortable a man is with his 'feminine' side?

Sun in Libra
Moon in Cancer
Jupiter in Cancer
Venus in Virgo
Mars in Cancer
Ascendant in Cancer

to post or not to post...

I had a reaction to your query libraschoice but then thought, I'm not qualified, but then thought what the heck (libra indecisiveness! )

It just made me think of the duality of Libra generally, you know ruled by Venus (feminine) but a Cardinal sign and a Masculine sign, and Linda even said with Libra there is more of the 'little bit of man in every libra woman and vice versa' - what I'm getting at (eventually!) is IMO it wouldn't matter which way round the planets lie (masculine or feminine) a conjunction is a conjunction etc.
Maybe though it might indicate other things such as possibly the female would take the 'more traditional male role' of leader in the relationship (I hope that doesn't sound sexist - I don't mean it that way)

I'll shut up now

For example...

His Moon-Her Pluto
His Venus-Her Mars
His Moon-Her Uranus
His Moon-Her Mars
His Moon -Her Jupiter
His Neptune-Her Mars
His Venus-Her Pluto

and almost all the Saturn on his end.

Sun in Libra
Moon in Cancer
Jupiter in Cancer
Venus in Virgo
Mars in Cancer
Ascendant in Cancer

I suspect the attraction is still dead-on, but the man will act more stereotypically female in the relationship and the woman will act more stereotypically male. If both of them are cool with that, then great.

I've read that men don't resonate very strongly with their feminine planets, they tend to "farm them out" to the females in their lives, and thereby let those planets be expressed more so through their relationship with females, and the same is true of females and their sun and Mars, although to a lesser extent in the modern world, as women become more and more comfortable with their solar & martial energies -

That being said, in the case of a woman's sun conjuncting a man's moon, the women will tend to guide the relationship, and the man will tend to happily follow her lead. In the case of a women's Mars conjuncting a man's Venus, she will tend to be the one to make the 1st sexual overtures, and he will feel like a very desirable man in this relationship.

No matter how you slice it, it's still going to spell compatibility - Some old-school macho men (read: chauvanist insecure men) may feel a little uncomfortable with the woman making the first move, so the Mars / Venus reversal may not be ok for all men....but I would say that's probably an exception, as I believe most of them think it's hot to be seduced by a sexy woman, and if her Mars is tickling his Venus, he WILL find her sexy.

PS: I wouldn't concern myself too much with anything other than personal planets (sun, moon, venus, mars, merc...jupiter to a lesser extent, when it comes to male/female planets, simply because the aspects between personal planets & outer planets will be there with numerous people of the same generation because they are so slow-moving, so the energies those planets share with his personal planets are probably nothing new to him.
