The person to whom this natal chart belongs was told that he would not marry until he was around 40 years old. Does anyone have input on this chart? Any help is MUCH appreciated! Grazie! IP: Logged |

This person has Venus conjunct Saturn. ANY Venus/Saturn contact (particularly conjunct/square/opposition) means you will have much difficulty in relationships, and probably won't get married until late (if you ever do). So, yeah, I can see where that comes from. I can't speak for the age bit- it's not that exact- but odds are love won't go well for him for a long time.IP: Logged |

Thank you so much, Jen. I did notice the Venus-Saturn conjunction - and in the fourth house it would restrict family/home. Plus, Venus is in Gemini, which one of my older teachers considered a "sign of the bachelor".Does anyone have additional comments/interpretations? Thanks in advance! IP: Logged |

this Venus-Saturn could be about emotional imaturity, intimacy rejection and distancing oneslef, self-undoing, all 'learnt' during childhood (Saturn ruling the 11th and 12th, Venus ruling the 8th and 4th) in the 4th. it doesn't *cause* one not to marry - it simply speaks on behalf of one's relating issues and style. being in gemini, it's about imaturity - being child-like, not having confidence in one's abilities to relate successfully to others. mercury rules the 5th (romance, dating) and it is in the 7th - conj the moon. this can mean all sorts of things: dating 'seriously', the mother having a huge influence on how one perceives partners, looking for one just like mum, asking mum's aproval or (unfortunately) remaining mum's little boy (the conj is in leo). put them together and you have one very undeveloped individual, unsure of himself, not ready to be in a rel with another woman (other than mum), or maybe even not wanting to. the cancer sun only puts more weight to this line of interpretation. this guy takes things for granted (leo mars, leo moon); mum takes care of him and he's happy in this state of helplessness. if my eyes don't mistaken me, there could've been some significant love/rel around 20 years of age (give or take). wonder what happened? not having the data I cannot see the 40 years anywhere. i'd need to calculate solar arcs. by eye, you can see the 20 degrees difference beween sun (ruler of 7th) and the 7th cusp. other than that - don't know. Thanks, Cristiname! I really appreciate all the thought that went into your response.I'm trying to become more adept at reading the romantic signals in the charts of other people so I can be a better advisor. I know some of the basics, but a lot of you members on here are waaay better than me in the predictive department ... so I'm hoping to learn from ya'll. IP: Logged |

I'm shamelessly bumping this thread because the poor guy is confused about the "marriage at 40" bit ... I've gotten two really good interpretations so far, but wanted to see if anyone with predictive astrology knowledge could please add ...Thanks in advance! IP: Logged | |
