.. an idea.. I'm not sure if it works so I thought I'd run it past people. First of all, think of someone you look up to who you see as a mature/understanding person (someone you actually *know* whose chart you can look at). This has to be a person you feel you could learn from. When you look at their chart next to your chart.. are more of their planets in ‘older’ rather than ‘younger’ signs in comparison to yours? For example: Here, Person 2 would feel they have a lot to learn from Person 1 since they have older planets over all. Alternatively, check it with someone you find immature.. Are more of their planets in ‘younger’ signs? In this example Person 1 might see Person 2 as less mature. Let me know if it works! IP: Logged |

Hi CF ~You have an interesting hypothesis here But I can see some problem areas: If you are Person 1 (say, me as Libra) and Person 2 is an Aquarian, at least half their personal planets are probably going to be "more mature" than mine. My boss, the Aquarian, is several years younger than me, so his Outers are a sign behind mine, but all his Inners except Mars are "more mature"..... Would it be better to have "more mature" Outer planets or "more mature" Personal planets?? I like the idea that Person 2 in your example could teach Person 1 about "how to do his Mars"..... but there's something inherently amiss in considering one sign "older" or "more mature" than another -- after all, no one knows how many times you have incarnated as a Pisces Sun, for instance, to learn the lesson there?? What if you've died an opium addict in every previous incarnation and failed all those lessons?? Would that make you "more mature" this time around if you've managed to avoid opium?? Coral Frequency, I think it's a very good idea and it also works very well!!! I had an idea like this but yours is better. I was comparing the signs according to them being primitive signs, social signs and universal signs, universal being the most mature...Stage 1 - Primitive The Mother (Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer) Stage 2 - Social The Hero (Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio) Stage 3 - Universal Return of the Hero (Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, Pisces) http://astrology.about.com/library/weekly/aa070601a.htm IP: Logged |

Hi CoralFrequency For me it doesn't work. I think, Pisces aren't always older than Aries and so on. I imagine everything so: Level 1 Aries Taurus...Pisces Level 2 Aries Taurus... Pisces ... Level 758 Aries Taurus... Pisces It means Aries on level 758 would be more mature than any sign on lower level.

Hi Zala quote: Would it be better to have "more mature" Outer planets or "more mature" Personal planets??
I didn’t think of that. I guess if you were not in the same generation the outer planets might count more. That also takes into consideration the age gap. Objectively I agree with what you said because everyone is mature/intelligent etc in their own way, in their own areas.. But subjectively I was wondering whether it affects the way you perceive someone. Person 2 might be very mature objectively but Person 1 could still see them as immature or maybe ‘younger’ is a better word.. or more naïve. Hey Jan I do realise we’re not on a flat surface or a line that starts at A and ends at Z. A circle doesn’t have a beginning or an end so I agree with what you said also. It’s similar to what Zala was saying about reincarnation. I only meant this from a purely subjective point of view. There is a difference in saying “This person is very mature” and saying “This person can be anything objectively but in my subjective opinion I see a lot of maturity in them”.. or .. “I feel as though I have a lot to learn from them”. You can learn something from every person you meet but you unavoidably meet people who you really look up to in life. Someone who gives you strength or teaches you lessons you haven’t yet learnt.. someone who has the key to something you don’t quite understand yet. I wasn’t sure at all whether this works. It’s just something I noticed in my own relationships.. That’s why I would’ve liked more examples. Thanks JupsGirl and AG! :edit: Zala, quote: I like the idea that Person 2 in your example could teach Person 1 about "how to do his Mars"
I like that to. It’s probably more accurate than what I said initially. It’s a give and take I guess. IP: Logged |
