My perception of the Nodes is that they represent our rising consciousness. Any square to them, tends to pull that "off track."

Here love affairs, or more likely an improper definition of love interrupt the rise. Chemistry is not love--but rather related to a perceived need.

I missed this thread, I also have this as a natal aspect and don't know how it works. I will try and ponder what Alice has said.

*edit*Oops, you meant synastry. Well at any rate, I have the conjunction with my bf so I guess this natal aspect of mine has played out in a good way????
