Ok I've googled for information on this but no luck. I was wondering if anyone could tell me what it means when the vertex/anti-vertex runs along the same line as the ascendant/descendant?It seems an unusual thing, but my lover and I have that in our composite chart (3deg scorpio). Its ALSO that way in our 'first meeting' chart (27deg pisces). Neither of us have that natally. Is it really an unusual thing? Its bugging the heck outta me cos I can't find any interpretations online. So frustrating!!! Any help anyone? Thanks in advance. IP: Logged |

the only thing i can think of is to check cafeastrology's page and look at the list of "good aspects/bad aspects" for relationships. I think they rate them, and I know that they use the vertex.IP: Logged |

I wish I knew, but that is a really obscure placement/aspect to interpret, especially in the 1st meeting chart. For the composite, my layman's interp would be that should the relationship flourish, it will be a very significant, life changing one, and that will be very apparent to all that meet you as a couple. I've had a lot of personal experience with the Vertex in the last few years (synastry). I made several really strong friendships (3) and I had planets all conjunct their Vertex. That guy I constantly blather abut that ripped my heart out... his Venus is conjunct both my Vertex (1 orb) and my DC (3 orb). So I know it is POWERFUL in synastry, not sure how it works in the composite or first meeting charts. Hope this helps! IP: Logged |

Well, I would be very tempted to say it is a very deep bond you guys have. But I have no idea what it means. My Vertex is exactly opposite his Vertex... I hope this is meaningful, as well, because they're only 3 minutes apart. Unfortunately, there isn't much info out there about the Vertex in synastry. But if there is, I hope you find it!IP: Logged |

In synastry our vertex's don't make overly many contacts, these are them:My vertex conjunct his jupiter (1deg) My vertex square his pluto (2deg) My vertex trine his chiron (3deg) His vertex inconjunct my mercury (exact) His vertex square my chiron (2deg) His vertex is in my 1st House. My vertex is 7deg16 aquarius and his 12th House cusp is 7deg31 aquarius so I'm not sure where it sits! I couldn't find ANY information on the vertex in the composite, just synastry. Thats why I'm so interested. Thanks for your help, guys. IP: Logged |

I think there are some Vertex links in beebuddy's COOL ASTROLOGY LINKS thread -- I vaguely remember putting something in there.....IP: Logged |

I had with my ex Vertex-AC conjuction, both ways. Didn't last of course, because Vertex combination mostly don't last...they are here for "learning", and I can say all my world fall apart after that, but it opened my eyes like never before and never after. Same with her.K. IP: Logged |
