So, since I finally feel comfy knowing how to interpret most of the other major stuff, I finally am staring down the empty houses. I know they are not really 'empty'. But I've read how to interpret them and I'm just confused by the literature I've read, so here I am!

So I decided I'd take on my empty 9th house. In my head, it certainly isn't empty! I'm in college, and I have intensely strong feelings about it, about what it means in the big picture, how it fails to meet that, how I just want to rebel against it but feel stuck in it. So heck, I think it'd be interesting to see what in my chart could be affecting that!

So, I am mostly just verifying, but, with an empty house, I am looking at the house cusp, right? And then depending on the house cusp sign, do I look at where the planet is (and what is happening to it) that rules that house sign cusp? What other things would I look at?

For example, my 9th house has Sagittarius on its cusp. So I would look at Jupiter's placement and aspects to it and what sign it is in? Do I also look to the house that Sagittarius actually would rule which here is the 9th, or just Jupiter? Or do I look at which house cusps Sagittarius is sitting on in my chart?

*head explodes*

If it helps to look at my chart, that is here:

Haha nevermind this, I pulled out one of my books and it said how to deal with an empty house, and found something by Jonathan Cainer too!

There's a need for action in houses that have planets in them. I think empty houses are the reverse.

I find this so interesting, and possibly quite true, because I find myself expending tons of energy towards my empty 9th and hating and resenting it, and desiring to expend it on my 6th which has those 3 planets in it, it feels like I NEED to work, to the point where it's mentally painful that I'm not!
