I keep running into men who act in the complete opposite of their sun sign or at least the opposite of how others have experienced them. For example: *An Aries who isn't forward and assertive. *A Cancer who isn't nurturing but wants to get married. *A Libra who isn't flirty or fickle but also wants to get married and is very committed and family oriented. Now that I think about it, they were all either on the cusp or very close to another sign. The Aries was born 3/25 so close to Pisces, the Cancer 7/18 so close to Leo, and the Libra 10/22 so on the cusp or Scorpio. I know their other signs are important as well, but it seems every guy I meet is *NOTHING* like their sun sign. Anyone else experience this??? IP: Logged |

Everyone I meet is nothing like their sun sign and everything like their sun sign. It really depends on the situation and what part of them plays out. So many things come into play. Not just the rest of the chart (which is the obvious) but also education/childhood etc. For instance, I'm an Aries but I can look extremely calm in stressful situations. I don't always feel that way but I can definitely appear that way. You could say part of the reason is the rest of my chart, but the way I was brought up is a big part of it as well. I’ve also known an Aries guy who was very effeminate and he was gay as well, so it’s not always the typical macho-man version. The other two you mentioned aren’t really uncharacteristic of those signs. Cancers don’t always want to nurture. They sometimes want to be nurtured. It depends on the mood they are in; and one of the most cliché things said about Librans is that they live for partnership and marriage. But think about it this way. You're a Virgo.. Aries moon I assume? Would you say that you always act like the definition of those signs? I'm sure there are people in your life who see many other things in you than a sequence of Virgo/Aries/Virgo/Aries. :edit: About cusps, the only cusp situation I've noticed working is the 29th degree cusp. Some of the ones you mentioned are too far to be considered cusps.. 25th of March is about a 5 degree Aries (which is pretty well into Aries) and 18th of July is about a 25th deg Cancer ..which again is a bit too far from the cusp. The Libran on the other hand has his Sun on the 29th deg (is that right?), so it's more possible with him. IP: Logged |

Ummm, you should probably take their whole chart into account....not the cusps. And I certainly agree with this: quote: Cancers don’t always want to nurture. They sometimes want to be nurtured.
I don't why one would expect that from us even they aren't willing to return the favor. But really, was never really the nuture type of cancer in the past. I mean, I would get those 'feelings' for people but I would rarely act on them. Hmmm, musta been the Cap rising. IP: Logged |

This reminds me of the time I met this guy awhile ago at a coffee shop, and within the conversation I asked him his sign he told me his birthday was March 20. So I said to him "Oh so your a Pisces", and he shook his head with a laugh and said "No, I am an Aries". And then I tried arguing with him that he technically was still a Pisces since he was still a day away from Sun sign Aries...but when I checked online the birthday, low and behold he was just barely a couple of degrees into Aries.------------------ Sun in Libra Moon in Cancer Jupiter in Cancer Venus in Virgo Mars in Cancer Ascendant in Cancer I "FEEL" therefor I am IP: Logged |

Maybe what they showed you is only one side of their personality. I agree with them being everything like and nothing like their sun sign. The Aries guy might be learning assertiveness. They are assertive in certain situations, but not others. Their moon sign being one sign after their sun will make them feel unable to express their sun adequately. The libran who isn't flirty or fickle probably has overcome that aspect of themselves (if they have experience in relationships), or that they have not come into their own. They actually can be both at the same time. Being flirty and fickle is just a temporary show to escape their commitment (balance). It is probably also alot to do with their charts.IP: Logged |

Hmn. With Pisces sun & moon, you can assume the typical qualities of any sign in the zodiac. Whether you want to, or not.S_T IP: Logged |
