What does being a moderator actually entail ? in principle if not in practice. The only time i hear cries about the need of a moderator is when it seems people want to shut one person up. So could u please give us a low-down, sort of, of what YOU expect from a moderator. I think before any one volunteers for this position, that would be good to know, esp for those of us who are not old timers.

I have to wonder if by chance, if she was made moderator, instead of hypocritically calling other people "evil" and "black magic do-ers" and other malicious nonsense while pontificating about how pious and loving she thinks she is, she could just cut to the chase and ban the people she hates. It certainly would satisfy her spitefulness, which in turn might cut down on all her Randall-approved abuse that goes on around here.

But who knows, maybe her raison d'etre is to hate. She certainly is empowered by the fact that Randall has allows her an audience to spew it upon. Given her conduct here and Randall's passive-aggressive stance on letting her do it (which is to also say he apparently approves,even if silently, of lotus driving decent, contributing people away), I'd say actions speak louder than words in favor of that conclusion.

I also suspect Randall's choosing people to be mods who'll likewise allows this regrettable status quo to continue. So just be aware, knowflakes - when lotus gets bored with harrassing sue g and decides on a delusional, spiteful whim to come after *you*, don't expect any of these newer mods to do a damn thing about it.

And yes Randall, this is intentionally inflammatory. If lotus can do it, why can't I?

To be completely honest I'm actually surprised that lotusheartone hasn't been banned by now. Sure I find her hilarious, but that's because I view her as one of those crazy people you see on the street wearing a tin foil hat, telling every one that passes by that the world is going to end and that we're all going to hell.
But others don't seem to be as relaxed and amused about her nonsense as I am
infact she invokes lividity in many of the knowflakes on the forum
My thoughts on the matter are instead of bitching and moaning about her why don't you all just get together and do something, make a petition to Randell to get her kicked off or what ever you all think would be best.
I have to say I'm far more annoyed by the inaction than her crazy talk
