I think this will be a very entertaining and fun look at sexuality in the chart. The things I have always learned to see what the sexual preferences of a person might be always reside in the 2nd, 5th, and 8th house. Planets such as Mars, Jupiter, Uranus, and Pluto being the plants to watch for in these houses. I have a bias to always be looking at the 8th house, to see the deeper ingrained subconscious desires. A person whose uranus or pluto is hanging out in the 8th house usually has come interesting desires when it comes to sex, very deep seeded needs to be met in a unique way. What do you guys think about this. Also what is the argument about homosexuality, can this be spotted in a chart? Can't wait to hear what everyone has to serve up. Let me first say that my venus in aries in the 4th house makes me very aggressive towards a relationship, especially if they have come to my home and we have had a glass of wine, thats just me though, besides that, my Mars in Virgo keeps me pretty much at bay. I am man who seems dangerous and pursues hard, testing the water, but if granted passageway I slowly ease away because of my Taurus moon. At least this is how I have always seen it.------------------

Yeah, I have wondered about homosexuality and if there is a link in ones chart to indicate so. I have Uranus and Saturn in the 8th house, both are in Capricorn as well. I have noticed that women and men with a Capricon Mars are into bondage and all that jazz...maybe I am wrong IP: Logged |

uranus and saturn in the 8th house eigh? Seems to be your the perfect candidate for some bondage punishment. Saturn doesnt really allow you to fully communicate, and uranus would give you some alternative means of arousal usually. Some kind of punishment would probably be attractive to you. I have Pluto in 8th. Have a high sex drive although it is mostly in my head not in my bed! lol If i had sex every time i thought about it i would not be able to enjoy life. Most things that men are into i.e. "dirty movies" dont turn me off in the least as a woman. I will try anthing once with the right partner.IP: Logged |

ha ha that's funny. I have a mars in capricorn and I found out that I like to bondage...well not to the extreme. It's odd because I freak when i don't feel in control, but i guess it;s an outlet.Then again my Mars is in my 11th house. So it probably something else. I have pluto in my scorpian 8th house, and venus in my taurus 2nd house. My venus does trine my mars in capricorn and it opposes pluto. My mars is also sexile pluto. Maybe in the end, I just end up attracted to my friends because of all that. i really have no clue, where homosexuality comes from...astrologically speaking Uranus is in the 10th so idk about that. 3/4 of you reply is true *blushes*I have read that Aquarius/11th/Uranus positions indicate homosexuality, is it true? Seems that I am stuck on this subject but I want answers, lol. ------------------

I only have Uranus and Saturn in the 8th...and I do feel repressed and uncertain about how I use my sexuality, but I think that has to do more with my transits, since I have negative aspects mostly with my Venus transiting Moon, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune.

uranus in the 5th here, along with neptune..sun in the 8th -- other than that my "axis of evil"   is empty. uranus and the 5th? i dont do too well with commitment relationship wise, other than that i dont know how that placement relates to sexuality. neptune gives the insanely large romantic fantasy life [esp since its the ruler of my 8th house pisces sun] so needing no help with conjuring up intense sexual fantasies with elaborate plots, etc. haha maybe i should write about some of em! sorry i couldnt be of more help!IP: Logged |

Equal houses:Sun, Merc, Venus, Uranus, Pluto, Juno in the 8th....(Placidius: Sun, Merc, Venus 7th)
Venus quin Mars in Scorpio...

Ummm I read somewhere on MSN that 8th house mooners of both sexes have a preference for women???? I have this placement and I'm straight. Nothing against homosexuality here, but I'm not that. But I think I found something a little more accurate on BOBMARK'S about what I need to feel "comfortable" before you-know-what takes place. But what do you think of this as a placement: venus and Jupiter in the 5th. I know it means a great deal in romance but that's all.  IP: Logged |

Well I am a 12th house Mooner(in Cancer), and I am a weirdo in a good way, but my Sun conjunction Pluto in 4th house gives me all the desire I can handle. I do have Uranus sitting in 5th, which is why I am so open about things ------------------

I know a LOT of people with Venus in Aries in the 8th house.. not all of them are sexually active, but they describe themselves as people who would be more promiscuous types if they were. Two of them are in long-term relationships, but they seem to have a very basic view of sex. They it as a bodily function and an instinct but also as a way to form a deep connection with someone.IP: Logged |

Venus in Aries, which I have in my 4th house, makes me very much approach sex in a practical approach. That really has to do with it cascading through the sign of aries. I would also like to state that in no way am I trying to have a vulgar thread here, I am just as curious as the rest of us how sexuality is shown through the wheel, as I think we all are. Some other planetary alignments that I look at are as follows. 5th House Sun(a good chance of having many love affairs) 5th House Mercury(you must be mentally stimulated by your lovers, and can be lured my many lovers) 5th House Venus(attract romance and usually have a good amount of lovers) Mars in 5th House(impulsive towards love, competitive in love, personal magnetism) Uranus in 5th(can have sudden fall ins and outs of love, like novelty and experimentation in sex)Neptune in 5th House(Fantasy very much can become part of love making, perhaps dressing up and acting, can have illicit love affairs) These are the planets that I always looks at in the 5th, the ones that catch my eye. Uranus and Neptune however are the ones that really may suggest the openness to may things that would be considered much more taboo in a sexual relationship I would speculate. I think the main difference between the 5th and 8th house planets when addressing sexual desire is that 5th house is more playful and does address children, creativity, and pleasure seeking activities outside of sex, while the 8th House while address more deep ingrained psychological needs towards sex. I would speculate that someone with uranus in the 5th house would like and be open to new things but not necessarily need them in their sexual relationship, but the person with the uranus in the 8th, well I would think that sexual activity outside what is considered "normal" sexual behavior would very much be needed for regeneration through sex. I am loving everyones personal opinions and sharing of their house setups and how they can be. I have mars and venus conjuct in Leo in the 8th house here...which are joined by my sun and moon conjuct in cancer in the 8th as well.Sex to me is something SACRED and as close to someone physically that you can get. I will not have sex with someone unless I already feel joined with them in mind and spirit. I have a lot of sexual desire, but always with love...never have I desired sex just for sex's sake. I also have a real problem knowing that my love has made love to another woman in the past...ugh it makes me sick to think about it. But our love for eachother is 'young love' and it is the only true love either of us have ever experienced. He told me that when we finally join physically it will be the first time he has ever truelly made love to someone...he gives me his mind, body, and soul, as I do to him.
