I have always heard that these are the main sexual attractors between people, if they are going to have that hot connection right off the bat, or if there will be things to work out. I will use me for example, I have a Mars in Virgo and a Venus in Aries. I have always heard, me being a man, is that Virgo is what I have to offer a woman, and Aries in Venus is what I am looking for in a woman, kind of like a key lock system with another person. The funny thing is I looked up my ex-girlfriend and I that had the best sexual chemistry and she had her mars in virgo as well, suiting what she was looking for in a man. Is this how Mars/Venus works when comparing people. Would I be most compatible with a woman who has a venus in aries and a mars in virgo?IP: Logged |

You'd be more compatible with a woman who has Mars in Aries and Venus in Virgo, because it would cross.mars- virgo aries venus- aries virgo Your Venus would be attracted to her Mars and her Venus will be attracted to your Mars. it's a masculine/feminine balancing thing. Unless you are talking about Sexual Chem. alone, then that would all rest in Mars and Pluto. Venus has more to do with love. SO you'd def. be sexually compatible with a Mars in Virgo chick, because you have the same sexual desires. But I think LOVE aspects more-so depends on the moon sign aspecting the sun. What are your sun and moon in? ------------------ Aquarius sun, Libra Moon, Aquarius Rising. IP: Logged |

thank you for the informative reply, my moon is in taurus and my sun in pisces. Right now I am dating a taurus and her moon is capricorn. So we have that sun/moon balance, although its usually the man with the sun in a sign mating up with a woman with that as her moon right? We still have a nice feminine balance between our suns and moons though------------------ Sag Rising, Pisces Sun, Taurus Moon IP: Logged |

Neptune - I haven't had a single Venus/Mars conjunction with anyone I've dated, but I have had some very powerful connections with a couple of people. It depends also, I think, on what you crave in a relationship. I'm one that needs intensity, chemistry, passion, and excitement - otherwise I get bored. So, I tend to enjoy the squares and oppositions...maybe not such a good thing, but such is life!! Of the two men that I've had the most sexual attraction/chemistry with, here are the placements that I've found really rocked the boat: My mars sq. his venus by 1 deg. (Cap/Aries) My venus opp. his Sun and moon (Sco/Taurus) Possibly my mars sq. his pluto, and my pluto opp. his mars. With the second guy: His mars conj. my sun - VERY powerful. I don't think this aspect is talked about enough. I should also mention that we both had mars in Cap...like you with Virgo, so maybe there is something to the mars-mars conjunction as well. Sexual attraction does seem to involve mars most of the time...but not always with venus. IP: Logged |

According to the book "Mars and Sex" Sun sign plays a part in this also. For example I am a Pisces with Mars in Aquarius, Venus in Aries. My best match would be a Venus in Aquarius or another air sign, my husband has venus in Aquarius and he is the best lover i have ever had. It also suggested A Venus in Fire sign but to avoid Scorpio Sun.IP: Logged |

I agree with CrankyCap- I've never even had a Venus/Mars conjunction or any Venus/Mars aspect with anyone I have ever been intimate with. My boyfriend and I had great chemistry from the start, and while we don't have a Venus/Mars contact, His Mars is in Scorpio and my Venus is in Scorpio. They just don't make a conjunction. We also have a Moon/Mars aspect, which is also a strong indicator of attraction. Other aspects to look for are Venus/Pluto, Venus/ASC, Mars/Uranus, etc.IP: Logged |

Don't forget Mars/Mars connections in synastry, the attraction is becoming more prominent. It seems alot of couples that have a passionate relationship have Mars/Mars(square, conjunction, opposition, trine, sextile). ------------------ Sun in Libra Moon in Cancer Jupiter in Cancer Venus in Virgo Mars in Cancer Ascendant in Cancer I "FEEL" therefor I am IP: Logged |

I LOVE VENUS SQUARE MARS!!!His venus squares my mars (1deg) His mars ALSO squares my mars (exact) Very very heated passion. On the other hand we also have lovely affection placements so we have a bit of both. A LOT of both actually, lol. IP: Logged |

when you are talking about the squaring of one another you are talking about when you do a composite of two charts?IP: Logged |

Not the composite, just comparing the two natal charts. Example: I have Mars in 16 deg. of Cap. My ex had venus in 15 deg. of Aries. Near perfect square.IP: Logged |

In my opinion the mars placement in a female chart indicates on which type of men she finds attractive. So venus -venus harmonizing and mars-mars harmonizing, is anyhow in my experience the best for attraction.Once met this guy who from the first time I ever saw him , thought was so attractive, like not-from-this-world kind of perfect, stunningly beautiful. Later I got to know this guy and.. well never ever knew a person as attractive to me as him. Checked our charts and.. my venus conjuct his sun (aries) and his venus conjunct my sun (aries). The conjunctions were with a 1 or 2 degree orb. Then he had mars in cancer, and mine is in scorpio and with a nice trine between them. So attraction..thats my experience of it IP: Logged |

me and him have venus (lib) sextile mars (sag) within 1 deg orb, but not aspecting each others'. But somehow these are pulled into a mix by his moon in between which conjuncts my mars. And his venus which conjuncts my sun stellium. I would say that I feel we're of the same vein - his likes and dislikes are similar to mine. The way he expresses himself is also pretty similar. We do have a certain understanding, which of course has its bad points as well. But I've not really been very much attracted to a mars in Libra or Venus in Sag for long term. Venus in Sag doesn't seem to commit, while mars in libra, remain my good friends. IP: Logged |
