I say this with compunction and am quite sorry if a thread in regards to this punctilious subject of discussion has already been posted, but I'm just a tad curious on the matter in question. That is, what "month" and "day" of Chinese Astrology signs you were born in truly means - what's the crux? As in, the hour of birth represents, to my knowledge, your "ascendant" of Chinese Astrology - the outward appearance or outward demeanor you give off. Mine would be the Metal Snake - and, adhering to the description, it falls in place with basically the look I give off- someone who appears to be very controlled, unfathomably controlled, in an effable way, yet without depleting their presence. The metal element also is something that details me out a bit well (in terms of what flows off me in appearance) - that 'fixed' look or that 'fixed' quality that the metal element usually indulges in. That emanates from my countenance as well.
The "Year" being your character - and the "element" in the respect of just that also a major attribute (me being the Earth Dragon). It makes me ponder many a thought what exactly the "Month" and "Day" means - I happen to be born in the month of the Wood Rat and the Day of the Wood Snake. Would one of the two be my communication sign of the Chinese Astrology? Or perhaps something along another nature?
Or is it infinitely more complex than that?
