When I was 18 years old, I met this guy that I was convinced he was my twin flame. as time passed by, I became in love with him. I dont really know the exact reasons why I "fell in love" with him so (I still dont)...there was this magnetic pull between the two of us that was insane and very visible. It is really very strange, meeting him opened me up to a more spiritual side of me and eventually led to my fascination and serious study of astrology.

I read that "twin flames" relationships are usually very short and for very specific reasons, to help one/each other get to the next step of consciousness in this lifetime. Thats exactly how I felt about him, especially when he left my life about 3 years ago. I have not seen him since and I have no doubt he still lives around here. Everything about us seemed very fated..as if somehow we were supposed to meet, no matter what. I met him at my first job ever ( a supermarket) and three weeks later he got laid off. Then he got a job next door at a restaraunt/deli where they also offered ME a job, but I declined saying that I wanted to commit to the supermarket job. Then, after 4 months of having an intense on/off interaction, he and I quit talking to each for a month (same ol' story...he was scared to commit, I was too eager to commit); I bump into him and find out that he left the deli to work in a restaurant/bar that is, I swear, 2 doors from where I worked as a hostess in another restaurant (I had 2 jobs at this point).
We both had intense feelings for each other and like Linda waiting for Robert Brewer , I was convinced that he would come back in my life. But it's been three years now and I have come to peace with the fact that perhaps he just was someone who, though very important, was not a permanent facet in my life.
