If the synastry chart do not have Sun conj moon, Sun trine Moon, etc., there are only the following aspects:
His Sun quindecile her Sun
His Sun quindecile her Moon
His Moon parallel her Sun (2.5 degree orb)
Her Sun/Moon midpoint conjunct his Sun (2 degree orb)
His Sun/Moon midpoint square her Asc (2 degree orb)

Do you think the parellel aspect would be strong enough compared to Sun conjunct Moon? Would 2.5 degree orb allowed?

What do you guys think about the above aspects? Would the energy overall strong enough for marriage? Thanks.

Isn't the quindecile an obsessive aspect?

I don't know enough about midpoints to offer an informed opinion, although from what I've read they are harmonic. What I would look for is aspects to the Midheaven, Descendant and Ascendant. Perhaps Juno and Saturn, too.

Wondering,

Hi Alisa, a 2.5 degree orb on declinations is too high. I would use a 1.3 degree orb at most. So that is not a parallel. But if there WERE a parallel between one person's sun and another person's moon (and a tight one), it can be very potent indeed. It would be felt just like a conjunction.

Cheers!

Tara.

What are the allowed orbs for midpoints in synastry and natal. I have following in synastry.

Her Sun/Moon squares my moon 1°20'
Her Venus/Mars Conjuncts my venus 1°45'
My Sun/Moon squares her sun 5°43'
My Venus/Mars Conjuncts Her venus 0°90'
We don't have any other sun-moon or Mars-Venus contacts. How strong these aspects are. Where one can get declination charts.

Allowed orb for midpoint is 2 degree. You can find declination using Astrolog software or Astro123. Both are free for download.
