Is it just me, or are things getting awfully tense around here? There seems to be an awful lot of unnecessary conflict going on. Being a Pisces moon, unless it directly involves me, I usually stay out of it, but the anger and opposition have been dominating this forum all day.

Whatever happened here is between AG, Lala, and Randall. If they have personal issues with one another, THEY need to sort that out.

Ok...off the soapbox. The purpose of this post, I hope, is to bring us all back together. I cannot express how much love I have for this site, or how lost I'd be without it. It is my home away from home, as it is for many of us Knowflakes. I have learned so much about the subject of astrology since I joined here last May. I want to continue learning. I've had the privilege of getting to know some very wonderful and enlightened people. I've had a place to go where I can express my sorrows, happiness, achievements, and grief. LL is a home for all of us, and it does feel like family. We disagree, we argue, things get heated...but that is exactly what makes LL great. We can't all get along because we are all unique. Every last Knowflake is a one of a kind.

I am extremely grateful to this site, and for everyone here. Disagreements happen, but please Knowflakes...don't be so stubborn. Anyone that leaves here would be sorely missed.

Love to all Knowflakes.

Love to LL.

Thank you. Your appreciation is overwhelmingly refreshing today.

A Lexigram from the word "KNOWFLAKES"

~KNOWFLAKES~

NO KNOWFLAKE WALKS ALONE
A LONE WOLF AWOKE
SAW A SAFE FEN
WOE, ALSO SAW A FEW FAKES,
A FEW FALSE ONES,
A FEW FOES,
A FEW LOW ONES ASKEW.
SO WE ASK NOW OF
A FEW SANE ELF FOLK
OF LAWS, OF KOANS, OF FLOW
NEW ONES KNOW AWE,
AS NEW ONES WAKE SELF ELF
AS A NEW SELF FLEW AS AN OWL, A SWAN.
WE SANE ELF ONES
OWE NEW KNOWFLAKES
A SAFE SEA
A SAFE WALK,
A SAFE LANE.
WAKE SELF FLOW NOW
AWOKEN WE AS ELF FOLK SANE.
AS ELF FOLK WE WAKE!
LOSE WEAK FLOW, ELAN WON.
AS WE ELF FOLK KNOW SELF FLOW LAWS,
SO A NEW SAFE SEA NEW KNOWFLAKES
NEW "ELF SELF" FOLK NOW KNOW.

Fights happen.
WE are all here to talk about spiritual matters.
Well, we are supposed to be here for that reason.
However from what I have observed.....
Sometimes it looks more like the monkeys in a zoo trying to throw sh!t at the humans. Add to that the potty humour overdone, and public sexual prowess displays, and breast beatings for domination, and posturings that scream "Look at us!" Well...spirituality is too often set aside for these silly and or sadly too often, cruel games.

Fights happen.
But some can work through them!
Sadly not all. Some love the attention and drama and side choosing too much.

To all old Knowflakes, be nice please. To all new Knowflakes. be careful who you trust until you really get to know them. Even a seemingly nice place as Lindaland has its emotional vampires.
Just like in the "Real" world.
Tolerance Is The Key in a large cyber community as LindaLand is.
So.....To Tolerance....and,
To The Light of Truth, Love, and Compassion.

Less than week before I joined LL...
My beloved husband stopped breathing. No heartbeat. Nothing.
I knowing CPR etcetera brought him back and
called the ambulance. But the thing which caused the collapse persisted for about 6 weeks. If I had not found LL shortly after that terrifying event, and during the weeks of worry afterwards.....including myself having a wisdom tooth pulled during the same period.....
I don't think I could have coped as well as I did without making new friends here at LindaLand.

That's pretty cool.

Believe it or not even I am thankful for LL. I've been embroiled in quite a bit during my time here, but it's still nice to come here and interact.

Cool lexigram!

everyone

The only other sound's the sweep
Of easy wind and downy flake.

The woods are lovely, dark, and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.

The Wisdom I just received from the Universe via my 2nd chick flick of the day:

What are you doing?

Unpacking.

Yeah, but why?
I thought that we all agreed
that it was time
for a new adventure.

This is our new adventure.
Staying is our new adventure.

What?
Why can"t you ever do
anything that I want?
I want to be alone.

Nobody wants to be alone.

I do.
Okay, l"m through
with these people
and I want new ones.

Unfortunately, honey pie,
new people are
only new for a day.

After that,
they"re just people.

Who will excite you,
disappoint you...

scare you a little bit.

And, boy, I know how tempting
it is to run away
when that happens.

It"s good for avoiding things.
But the problem is
you end up...

avoiding yourself.

Avoiding people you love.

You end up avoiding life.

So, l"ve decided
to start setting an example
for you girls.

I"m going to try
showing you what
sticking it out looks like.

Really get to know people.

And let people
get to know us.

I don"t promise
to be any good at it,
but I will try.

Because I want you and Zoe
to be better at this
than I am.

I want you to learn
how to let people in.

~from "The Perfect Man"
it has Hilary Duff in it.

It is a process in every community I would say, we all have our own opinions and views, and for the most part we get along well, but we need some friction too (healthy friction that is) so as to test our strength and character and the value of the community as well.

I'm thankful for this site, although the idea of being told what to think doesn't particularly appeal to me, especially when it concerns an infamous interpretation of an aspect I have personal experience with. I won't tolerate any of my interpretations being deleted because someone, even a mod thinks they are wrong. I'm here to learn for myself, not to be taught. However, I can and do respect the fact that LL's forum rules permit mods to delete posts for no - or any - reason whatsoever; it's just that I would have no respect left for these rules, or the people who enforce them were I censored on the basis of the quality of my interpretations, having disclaimed to those reading (as I always try) as being rank amateur at such a practice. It should be the responsibility of the person reading interps. in LL to take or leave them as they see fit. To take away this responsibility/choice is to basically deny every member the freedom to think for themselves.

I'm not about to 'leave' LL, because I understand the conflict was based upon a personal/historic issue, which has since been resolved. The idea of announcing your departure is pure sensationalist, self-effacing nonsense. I would frequent other places anyway, but the fact is that other places don't possess The Archives of LL, or the interpretative talent, through which I can improve my own.
