I was wondering about their ascendants.. what do you think?
I say Fiennes is DEFINITELY a Capricorn sun, definitely.
Adam Brody a Libra asc. and Gerry Pisces maybe? Don't know why lol

Id say Fine Fiennes [former crush o' mine] definitely has the Cap sun and Scorp Moon. Theres also something boyish to him which makes me think maybe aries rising? then again it could also be the sensitive side of the capricorn showing through.

And Jim Carey, another cap sun, has a gemini moon - i ran the date/city until 11:59 pm on astro.com and it's still gemini. ASC? havent seen him interviwed enough but off the top id say uranus there or aqua. the closest zany - wise to him i can think of is conan, and hes virgo rising with uranus 3 deg away in the 12th. also jim has merc conj jup in aqua, so that could account for a lot as well.

hardly know who the other 2 are....

Jim Carrey has Uranus in the last degrees of Leo. If he has a Leo ascendant, tht wud put Uranus in his 1st house.

I haven't given any thought yet to Ralph's ASC, but I pegged Gerry for a Leo asc. His Scorpio sun is very obvious, but he also has this certain look-at-me show off style that I think of as a Leo thing. And a Leo asc would put his sun in his 5th house adding to the Leo vibes I get from him.

I wasn't suprised at all that he has a Cap moon. Almost every man I've been interested in for more than 5 minutes, including celebrity crushes, has had either a Cappy or Aquarius moon.

jane i tried a Leo asc. for Gerry but his sun remains in the 4th House all the way, but he does get a 5th H moon.
But with a Pisces asc. you get Sun/Merc in the 8th H.

Good point jane (re: the Leo asc), the Cappy Moon and Scorpio should leave him more reticent to open up at all (I know it does me!) but if he's so chatty and outgoing then maybe. I don't follow him closely, I watch his movies and drool shamelessly. My best girlfriend is more into his happenings real or imagined and frankly gorgeous dude sounds a bit self-destructive and lost. Strong Pluto showing maybe?

Well, then, it's either a Leo asc. (with lots of 5th/5th H influence) or the Pisces asc. (8th/7th H influence)

Green Fairy - this is odd because when I put in the data to give Gerry a Leo asc, his sun lands in the 5th house. What house system are you using? I'm using placidus and putting in 9:50pm as the birth time. It makes me so frustrated when these hotties don't make their birth times available. You'd think they'd be more considerate.

Mudmama - yeah, I know very little about him too. I only recently discovered him by accident when I was watching some Craig Ferguson interviews on YouTube (love him too. I've got a thing for the Scottish accent and humor. And the kilt .) When I hear self-destructive, Pluto is the first influence to come to mind, but I have noticed that a lot of Cappy moons, particularly the men, tend toward that as well. I think it's from a feeling of emotional estrangement.

I've always loved Ralph Fiennes, he's gorgeous!! I had a change to see him as Hamlet on Broadway in 1995, and he was amazing on stage. I've tried to find his time of birth but no luck so far, my guess would be that his ASC is in Aquarius!Just a thought...

She said she was embarrassed by it, but as if.. There is no way she'd cash in on it to that point and sell her story all over the place if she was “embarrassed".. I actually think she was quite proud of herself undercover.

I don't find him attractive at all actually. But beauty's in the eye of the beholder ..so.. back to the topic lol

I *do* like Joaquin Phoenix and I think he might have a Scorpio Ascendant on his Sun or a Leo Asc.

Jim Carrey might have a Cancer Ascendant. He's very emotionally expressive and versatile.. A Cancer Asc would give his Gem Moon extra strength.
