Hello everyone, this is my first post. I am a Cancer Sun, Aquarius Moon, Libra Ascendant. I have only recently started studying astrology, but there is one thing that has stood out to me the most.

I was surprised to find that when i looked up my two best friends' charts, they BOTH had Aquarius Moons (one is an Aries Sun, Aquarius Moon..the other a Virgo Sun, Aquarius Moon.) I recently started dating an Aquarius sun/Leo moon guy...and I was shocked to find that both his ex-gf has an Aquarius moon AND HIS best friend is a Cancer Sun/Aquarius moon...LIKE ME! I'm starting to sense a pattern here...or is it just me?? :-) I think aquarians only understand eachother when it comes to the emotional department hahaha

hint for any person dealing with an Aquarius moon and/or Sun and/or Asc.: when we "detach", or for some unknown reason fall off the face of the earth for a week with no explanation whatsoever, it doesnt mean we don't like you! we just need our "emotional space"..if you give that to an Aquarian, I guarantee he will come back around and "attach" himself to you..in his own special way!!! any other comments about Aquarians, Aquarius moons, or constantly finding yourself involved with the same moon signs, i would really really love to hear!

I dont know about that, two of my closest friends are Aqua Moons and all I have is Aqua Mercury, but Aquarius is my 7H.

I think this sign-matching in the Big 3 when it comes to close relationships is pretty much across the board. Im constantly attracting friends who have a prominent leo or capricorn placement [leo my ac, cap my moon]. Also, other capricorn moons, but thats mostly in dating relationships - not friends. It just has to do with basic affinity, IMO. Youre somewhere and youre thinking/acting XYZ and someone else understands that cos theyre in that head/heartspace as well and you just connect.

i'm an aries with a leo moon and a lot of my good friends are aquas. for some reason, i was drawn to them and i felt their energy that they gave off. most of them are close girlfriends of mine...and now i am dealing with a aqua male, and have been for a few years now...i cannot get away from him and i feel that there is a karmic or soul connection there- we just get each other and its beautiful.

but yeah, i have gemini in mars and i get along very very well with aquas and geminis

...and yes, i have learned that if you give aquas (at least the love i'm dealing with) they will come back to you. you need to give them space but be real with them and let them know you are there without being overly emotional or needy

Hmm... what about Mars in Aquarius? I must admit I find that placement to be quite confusing!

I'm also wondering why I find myself connected (friends and family) with so many Capricorn moons. I don't have any Capricorn placements! I do have Saturn in Cancer (7th house) so maybe there's something going on there... the ruler of Capricorn being in the sign ruled by the moon (which also happens to be opposite Capricorn)? I've been trying to figure out why I'm surrounded by so many of them, maybe they have a lesson for me???

I've got an Aqua Moon,
the entire sign of Aquarius in my 1st house (i.e. "intercepted"),
and Uranus conjunct my Sun, Venus, and Midheaven (in Scorpio).

My two best friends are Aquarius Suns.
One has Scorpio Ascendant, Taurus Moon,
the other Cancer Ascendant, Libra Moon.

Pretty much the only people who "get" me are strongly Aquarian/Uranian in some way.
Usually there's strong water in the chart, too.

I have my moon in Aqua Venus,Merc,rising..I do attract the Aquarian type..I have atleast 6 Aqua girlfriends..And I have been in this intense romantic/friendly relationship with this Aqua guy for about 3 years off and on. I have dated a couple other Aqua men to and its always weird. But yeah I am detatched sometimes from everyone. But then I am attached to some ppl, thats my Pisces sun though..

Don't forget Mutual Reception! The Moon is dignified (at home) in Cancer and Saturn is dignified (at home) in Capricorn.. there's a sympatico there. Tried and tested on my part lol I have a Capricorn moon and I do feel close to people with a Cancer Mars (again mutual reception because Mars is exalted in Cap). I don't know anyone with a Cancer Saturn (too far off my generation) but I did find out the other day Leo Dicaprio has it exactly opposite my Moon and I've always liked his personality.

One of my good friends is an Aries, Scorp ascendant and Aquarius moon. She always seems to control her emotions...perhaps its the Scorp rising which makes her appear quiet. She is definately detached at times. Like she wont recognize how she has hurt you and it's hard for her to sympathize, unless she sees it. She separates her self from those situations though, so she doesn't have to deal with it.

I love reading all these responses; I am still learning about astrology, and this forum has been really helpful :-)

One thing I have noticed about my aquarius guy is that the more distant I am towards him , or even sometimes I have been rather aggressive and mean towards him (I think this is my mars square Pluto in my natal chart), he keeps on coming back..and likes me even more because of it!!! I wonder if this is because Aquarius guys dont mind a girl who is bratty at times (i dont mean to be..he just brings this out in me every once in awhile) than an overly emotional or clingy girl???? I don’t know…this is one thing that throws me through the loop about my aquarius sun guy. although my moon is in aquarius, I have a lot of Pluto influences (Pluto in the 1st house, Mars square Pluto, etc…) and I feel like I have to hold back at times because I might come off too “heavy” or intense in certain ways…I swing back and forth between wanting and being emotionally distant from him, and then craving emotional intensity … but trying to resist because I know he would probably be scared of that LOL its very odd, and frustrating.

i know exactly what you are talking about! omg! up until recently, i was passive with my aqua and almost needy, but still independent in my own aries way...but now i do me and i give him his space and when we are together, i tell him things and he actually does it now. lol...like i told him to massage my feet...he did, without hesitation- it was quite lovely : )

but yeah, i soooo knnow what you mean, the more you are sure about yourself and give your aqua space, but are real and true with him, you are good. AND, at least i have learned that you don't have to be verbal, but you can be physical with him and you are still showing how you feel somewhat, but this may be just because he has a taurus moon....??

I don't have too much going on with Aquarius or the 11th house in my chart, but I do have a powerful Uranus (not to brag or anything, lmuo ); it's my most prominent planet. So I'm figuring that's why I've always identified with the sign when I would read its description. And the thing about falling off the planet every now and then--yep, that's me. And I'm a Sag Sun so that may make my vanishing act even worse. It's been the number one complaint I've received in personal relationships and the only people I've been able to get very close with (friends, boyfriends, or family) are the ones who just accept that that's the way I'm wired. I've gotten a bit better, though. My outer space vacations aren't as frequent or long and I'll touch base. Anyway, what I wanted to say is that I'm attracted to Aquarians too. For some reason, I've known more Aquarius moons than suns, though. My bf has a Cap moon but it's in his 11th house and he acts a lot like the description for Aqua moons. If he didn't have that Aqua influence I don't think we would've lasted 3 months, let alone the 5 years we've been together b/c I seem to frustrate people who are less empathetic and tolerant of the Aquarius elements of my personality.

Yes, what I have found is that my Aquarius guy is especially scared of verbalizing emotions or talking about feelings…for me, I find myself cringing when it comes to talking all “lovey-dovey” as well haha so in that regard..my boyfriend and i are alike…I know he isn’t afraid of being physically affectionate..holding my hand, giving me hugs etc…we kind of have an “unspoken understanding” I guess you could say.. I just don’t ask him to tell me how he is feeling or what he feels about me cuz he will freeze up…I guess I kind of just have to have an intuitive knowledge of how he feels…..I am a cancer sun, venus, and mercury..so this isn’t too hard ;-)

Also, I think that you gain an Aquarian’s trust if he sees that you will give him space, that you don’t freak out if he doesn’t call for a week… its not that they don’t have feelings, its just that the feelings are so deep, they don’t know what to do with them…that is when the “detachment” happens and why some people see them as unemotional..when really, it is quite the oppostite! …then once the feelings have settled down or passed we come back around (and back to earth) and we are as good as new!! So in a way, if he is acting distant or detached, you can probably bet he is head over heels!!hahaha

Hey CoralFrequency! I'm just wondering how me and my bf's composite moon works with my whole "sympatico relationship" with Cap moons. It turns out that our composite moon is in Capricorn!!! (The midpoint of my Scorpio moon and his Aries moon). I can't believe that Cap moon has showed up in my life yet again in a different way... what does this mean (my Saturn in Cancer, 7th house placement in relation to Capricorn moons) when it's in a composite?

OMG, this is what happened to me too!
I happened to look up my best friend's
chart one day and found out she had an
Aqua moon just like me!!
Wonder why we get along so well...
She's a Gemini w/Aqua Moon
Me a Virgo w/Aqua Moon
We just know what we're thinking by just
looking at each other.
I also feel extremely comfortable with her
like I can be myself, you know?

Also with guys I attract Aquas like crazy.
Not only Aqua Moon but Uranus in first house baby! lol also I think my Sag rising has to do with that...

i get along great with my brother..he is a gemini sun/gemini moon...i love when he playfully taunts and teases me and says that I am "out there", "random" and my favorite.."weird" LOL sometimes though...his teasing gets too personal and it hurts the cancer in me :-( my sister, on the other hand, is a Scorpio moon..and WOW we definitely clash at times...i feel like she tries to manipulate me or pry too deep into my thoughts/feelings..and I naturally rebel and distance myself from her when she does that..She doesnt understand my detached manner..she sees it as being rude and childish..and i dont understand her possessive nature..I have found that I get along best with Air and Fire moon signs...in my own personal experience.

I don't think it's just about the Aquarians. I think we ALL attract similar people, friends and lovers that remind us of ourselves.
The Moon in the same sign would for sure make people feel somewhat familiar. For instance, 2 of my roommates have Moon in Capricorn (my Moon is on the cusp between Sagittarius and Capricorn ~ I am starting to consider myself a Cappy Mooner because I always tend to hide and repress my emotions). Yes, Moon in the same sign sure makes sense for people living together, wouldn't you think?
I am not at all surprised about this. Life is just so complex and so precise... yes, it is amazing... but everything happens for a reason, even if we don't see it or understand it, everything is where is was always ment to be, nothing - and I mean NOTHING - is random. Life is amazing!
