Since the composite is already a midpoint chart, is it excessive to then calculate its midpoints too? Do you use them when analyzing composites?

Here's the chart for those more visual:

first off the sun/venus conjunction is shows the perequsite spontaneous affection at the base of a stable relationship.you two are very much in love but there are some difficult aspects to work out.but the mars/venus midpoint is conjunct to jupiter,a indicationn that in addition to romantic enjoyment, you two also like spending time hanging out together and in social situations.this is also a stabilizing influence in the relationship.some of the difficulties are the saturn/neptune conjunction square the sun/venus conjunction.these aspects can show that there are insecurities in the relationship inspite of all the love.thses aspects are also associated with deceptions and hiddden feelings and actions.these aspects can show devotion but they also can show a "mental" cruelty when acting negative.these aspects have the ability to get the highest love but also the potential to make you feel very distant and confused.and the neptune can indicate a overindulgence in meds/alcohol[that seems to be a theme in several composites today].the neptune can show a strong party vib,and if intoxicants are over used then the strong affection you have for each other will go down the tubes.
the uranus/chiron opposition square to the ascendant can also put strains on the relationship.the sun/moon midpoint on the ascendant is usually a good aspect as it gives a strong understanding of the nature of the relationship.but with the chiron/uranus element there can be a overly aggressive critical nature to the relationship which does not give enough slack for each others shortcomings.this chiron element can be very cynical and picky and can lead to the undoing of the relationship if it does not also provide a perspective to heal the problems uncovered.the uranus square the ascendant is a strong indication that the relationship will not last longterm,as the need for individual independence often cannot be countered by the security and love of the relationship.

Thanks so much, William! I was delighted to read your response. It's amazing what you're able to see in a chart. You really give so much to this board.

So from your interpretation, I'm assuming that when a midpoint conjuncts the ascendant, a person should still interpret aspects to the ascendant and midpoint separately? The "easy" squares to the midpoint and "hard" squares to the ascendant don't cancel each other out?
