Topic: Inheriting signs!

My friends mother told me about something that happens to a mother and a child...inheriting the mother's signs. For example, my friends mother is a Pisces, Scorp. Asc and Aries moon, and my friend is a Scorpio. My mother is a Scorpio with a Aqua asc and Aries moon and I turned out to be an Aries. I've seen this with fathers too, give signs to their children. My friend's dad is a Double cancer and her asc and moon is Cancer. My brother is two in a half and a Leo,Cap asc and Aries moon. My dad is Cap,Libra rise,Taurus moon and I have a Libra rise and my brother has a Cap rise. It makes sense.
Have you guys ever heard such a thing?
Any more examples? ------------------

Well I guess thats sort of true for me too. My mother is a Scorpio(Gemini Moon) and my father is a Libra just like me, but has a Virgo Moon...both my parents have alot of earth and air in their chart's(the two elements I lack). I was and still am far more emotional then they can ever understand, it was hard growing up being a very sensitive child in a cold household...------------------

Venus in Virgo
Mars in Cancer

Not true for me but all my mothers children have a heavy Pisces influence either Sun, Moon or Asc.
She has Cancer Sun, Aries Asc &Moon and 5 planets in Leo! My dad has Aries Sun, Leo Asc and Cancer Moon.IP: Logged |

Dad's Sun + Sister's Moon I dont share anything with my father, although his ASC is Virgo and i have majority of my planets in Virgo along with my True Node. I forgot to mention, not all of the siblings will inherit signs in their m/s/asc line up. Their house positions and etc. will be similar though, in the signs. This is so cool.IP: Logged |

I believe this is another "branch" of astrology that examines sign inheritance.
I have a related article but it's in greek, don't know if anyone's interested.
I got a Cancer Moon, so does my dad.
And Aqua house placements, mom is an Aquarius.

My parents have passed over, and I don't know what their moons were, but my mother was a Scorpio and my daughter is one. My father was a Libra and my first son is one.

My Grandmothers were both sag suns, my paternal grandfather was one too, my maternal a virgo, my two maternal aunts are both aries, one married a libran, on a taurus, the Taurus one has daughters with Virgo and Cancer suns, while the one who married a libran has two sons, Cancer and Taurus repsectively, my brother is a sag, like the three grandparents. Interesting subject this thread. There seems to be something to it certainly. It's almost as if the passing on of genes may be facilitated by this sign-inheriting mechanism. ------------------

It is true. I've read something similar in an astrology book. The author said that the child's Ascendant is the same with the Sun sign of one of his/her parents or grandparents.
This can be used for finding the Ascendant with an unknown birth date - you pick the one that suits best, from the 6 alternatives (or less) As for the rest, I share the Ascendant and Moon sign with my father - Capricorn.
It makes a lot of sense, to me at least, for these things to happen, since there are deffinetely behavioral similarities within a family - they must have an astrological base as well. IP: Logged |

Interesting... My mom is a leo sun with leo mercury, leo mars, leo jupiter with leo pluto... turns out: My elder sis is a leo sun with leo mercury, leo venus and leo jupiter. I am a leo sun with leo north node, and a moon in the 5th house. My younger sis is kinda weird...no leo influences at all... but i get along very well with her because of her gemini (gemini sun, mars and north node) and libra influences (libra moon, saturn, pluto). I have gemini venus and libra ascendant, pluto, mars. Moreover, my aquarius moon is in her 5th house. I just adore her unconditionally... Also, My younger brother is a scopio sun with scopio moon, venus, jupiter, pluto and north node... He has a leo mars though. My dad is a scopio sun with scopio mercury and south node. I think we make an interesting family. Both my parents and my elder sis and my younger brother has sun conjunct mercury. All of us have at least a planet in the 3th or 6th degree... we are, despite all our differences, fated to be a unit. ------------------
