Being the eternal Aries 'child', I see mostly what I want to see, yet I want the truth. What do my fellow knowflakes think of this match ***edit chart link removed.

Maire31, I cannot help you, because I am not the expert here, but I am Aries also, with Venus in Pisces too, so I do understand how you feel...
I also want the truth... even if it hurts...
Take care

Can you post the synastry as well as a bigger composite? It's a little hard to see the aspects on that chart.

In the meantime--Sun, Moon, and Mercury in the 7th house are fabulous placements for a romantic relationship. Jupiter in the 5th and Venus in the 1st are also great--those houses are the best for personal relationships, so it's awesome they're all active. Mars in the 8th = great sexual chemistry. Mars square Pluto can mean some power struggles, and Venus opposite Sun, Moon, and Mercury can go either way--sometimes Venus oppositions are actually quite beneficial in a relationship... Venus is so "soft" that its energies are still nice in oppositions. Mars square Uranus is a little troublesome and can indicate instability in a relationship. Unaspected Saturn is also something to take note of... it can manifest in a number of ways, either by making it difficult for the relationship to "stick" or by taking disproportionate prominance, causing a lot of rigidness and oppression between the two of you.

I find synastry more accurate than composites (at least at the beginning of a relationship) so it'd be helpful to see that too. The composite looks nice overall, though.

For the most part, that's some nice looking synastry. You each have Venus conjunct each other's Ascendants--great indicator of a romantic relationship, as both of you sees something in the other that reminds you of yourself; you'll also appeal to each other's picture of the "ideal mate."

Neptune trine Sun and Mercury will lend an almost intuitive understanding of one another. You can probably communicate without words and instinctually know what the other person is feeling or thinking. You both have a Sun/Mercury conjunction trining the other person's Sun/Mercury Conjunction, which is fabulous for basic compatibility: your identities mesh well, not in a competative way but in a harmonious way. You probably share a number of interests and communication between the two of you flows easily. It's NOT a relationship with a lot of awkward silences or misunderstandings of one another. You "get" each other. Even if there was no romantic attraction involved, you'd probably be good friends.

On the negative, one person's Neptune is in opposition to the other's Moon, and the other person's Neptune is squaring the Ascendant. Idealism will be a BIG issue in this relationship, probably for both of you. You may view each other through rose-colored glasses, putting the other person on a pedestal and seeing them as being quite perfect. Idealism isn't always a bad thing, but the danger here is that both of you may be living in fantasy worlds, ignoring the other person's flaws. At some point in the relationship, the illusion will fade and the reality of the relationship may not be what you expect. However--I see many great aspects in this chart, so even if there is some idealism involved, the relationship will probably pretty great even once that illusion shatters. There is also the possibility that one person (or both) may be deceiving the other. Just something to be weary of.

Another thing to take note of is a Saturn/Mars square. The Saturn person may end up taking an authorative role in the relationship, trying to discipline and control the Mars person--which could put a major damper on the relationship. This is something that isn't likely to manifest until the relationship has been going for a while; at first, the Saturn person might be very attracted to the Mars person's energy and enthusiasm, but it can quickly cause problems later on.

There are also relatively few Saturn aspects, so the longevity of this relationship is also up in the air. If it lasts a long time, it will be because of your shared interests and enjoyment of each other's company--there might not be a constant compulsion to stay together.

Pluto conjunct Venus can mean a bit of obsession is involved here.

Saturn conjunct N. Node could make things unpleasant for the N. Node person, who feels like the other person is trying to boss them around and act like a parent.

Overall, this definitely looks like something worth pursuing. Even with the difficult aspects, there are so many good ones that you'll be able to work through any problems that might arise with this guy. Good luck!
