Topic: 12th House Support?

Hey y'all,I remember a thread quite a while back called "12TH HOUSE SUPPORT GROUP" or something along those lines, but the 'search' feature on the site isn't working (on my computer, at least). Can anybody direct me to this thread? I've been feeling especially 12th-housey lately, and I need to feel that there are others out there who know what it's like..... ------------------

12th house Moon here, don't worry you are not alone. I also tried starting a 12th house thread(not to many replies though, guess I am not to popular). At times it is a pain, and I feel my emotions get the better of me, keeps me from thinking logically...many times I can collect myself easier when I am alone, it's very peaceful.------------------
Sun in Libra
Moon in Cancer
Jupiter in Cancer
Venus in Virgo
Mars in Cancer

I have a tendency to suppress them or else I'll feel completely debilitated... not healthy though, need a better outlet... well anyway, my Moon is also conj my ASC, so my feelings eventually reveal themselves with or without my permission, hehe... I also have a tendency to say 'peace out' when I'm stressed. Need lots of alone time and a loaded playlist to recharge. Leo Moon/Leo rising too. IP: Logged |

Lunatic, I remember which thread you're talking about. I would find it right now but I don't have the time...sorry.  I've been feeling 12th-housey too lately and I have a stellium there natally. Transiting pluto has also entered that house.  IP: Logged |

so i was reading my personal portrait on astro.com and I kind of found this passage really disturbing:"Mars, the ruler of your life events, is found in the twelfth house. This position gives the possibilities of an obscure life acting in the shadows. There are dangers of violence surging from occult or disguised enemies that act in the dark. Mars here has one advantage: at a certain point of your life it may become possible to escape from all bonds by acting dramatically, quickly and positively against the restraints imposed by your fate." I'm not exactly what sure this means... but is the 12th house really bad? I also have Venus in the 12th house, but that summary was almost encouraging.... IP: Logged |

Hello and Welcome bluegreyeyes  Venus is exalted in the 12th house.
kind and compassionate.
Mars is not happy in the 12th.
Mars shows how you act out your Sun Sign and in the 12th house it's not as effective as say a 1st or 10th house Mars. There is always the possibility of being a victim.
The sign Mars is in will guide you in overcoming this placement.
(we all have something in our charts that we must work with and overcome) These are character builders. If your Mars/Venus are conjunct, this shows a very "attractive" person. (this aspect is a big plus in astrology)

Hi all12th house moon here (also conj ASC like teaologist's) as well as mercury and neptune here; everything said sounds familiar. I had a friend with a 12th house venus and she was a really kind person but always had problems with relationships or had people taking advantage of her. Haven't talked to her for a while but I hope things are better for her now. IP: Logged |

The thing about the 12th house is that it feels like there's no way out of it. I feel as if I am condemned to aloneness for eternity. I feel as if I will always and forever be lost in a haze of illusion and emotion. My sense of Self will never be fully there. I will always feel scattered, fragmented, and afraid of the world - wanting to hide. I feel plagued. I feel as if I have a bottomless well of sorrow inside of me. I also have the sense that I have lived before, perhaps many times. I am only 18 years old but sometimes I feel 80 on the inside. I feel as if I never really had a "youth". I have always felt old, old; on the verge of death... ------------------

I have 12th house mars as well. For the longest I had the wrong birth time(still not accurate) which gave me a 1st house mars. none of the descriptions i read described me but i figured we all had some part in our chart that didnt fit like a tee. I feel that i have for the most part i have overcome my 12th houe placement but i am still passive aggresive with things. this does not bother me as it does other people. IP: Logged |

I have mercury in my 12th house,and it makes the following aspects:Mercury Conjunct Ascendant
Mercury Square Midheaven
Mercury Square Neptune
Moon Trine Mercury
Mercury Sextile Uranus
Mercury Sextile Jupiter Does this means that all the aspects it makes to other planets are bad?

Having 12 house in my Venus makes me miserable. But I have my at venus 29 degrees conjuct my ascendant 7 degrees...does this mean my 12 house won't be as deeply felt?!?!?!? I think I read this somewhere.IP: Logged |

ErickaF, why does Venus in 12th make YOU feel miserable? Doesn't it give you a universal sense of love? It is painful for me too becaue I constantly fal in love with those I cannot have. And THAT, is painful isn't it?Venus in the 12th is less painful than having Sun, Moon, Mercury, or Saturn, Pluto there I think. In fact, I heard Venus is actualy 'happy' to be in the 12th...but that's in terms of having compassion and universal love. So if we're more into having close relationships with 'individuals' it's difficult. IP: Logged |

I think having the venus in the twelfth house makes me not be as open of my feelings to my lovers as I would want to be. I have had had heart broken and I have suffered. I think it has to do with my twlefth house. Why do people marry their first love...why are some luckier?? Not fair!!!!!!IP: Logged |

this thread is like "12thhouse moon Anonymous" where I stand up and say "Hi, my name is pennylane and I have a 12th house moon" and everybody says "hi penny" haha
stupid joke, I know, forget it.and yes, I have a 12th house moon indeed (in leo, like my ascendant)I dont think it bothers me that much actually, I'm still figuring out what it means to me, but I feel comfortable with my need of contemplation and solitude.
