She is the author of 'Interview with the Vampire' and some of the other famous vampire books. Her chart is interesting(Oct 4, 1941 in New Orleans, LA/ birthtime unknown). She has Mars and Moon in Aries in 1st house, which is pretty cool...birthchart was found on this site

Because Mars in Aries in 1st is a powerful placement(it's dignified)...------------------

Tea, I love your sense of humor, your posts make me chuckle  Your right, without proper time we don't know. I think it could be pretty close though, she is a famous author...should I post a pic of her(I'll have to hunt the internet for one)?------------------

Anne Rice~~ love her books.. Now I know why - coz she has Moon/Mars in Aries, Venus/Mercury in Scorpio, and Libra Sun!! XD (I have Sun/Moon/Venus/Mercury in 8th house Aries lol..)
Her books are really intense, her way of using the words are simply deep and charming.. fits her Scorpio Mercury and Venus.. ^_^IP: Logged |

Ha! I looooved her books, although they could've done a little bit better with the second movie they did on one of them (the one with Aaliyah, I've forgotten the name *edit* It was Queen of the Damned). And its no suprise about her Scorpio mercury.IP: Logged |

For her ascendent, my guess is Scorpio rising.I'll look around online and see if I can find a time for her chart. For those who do not know, her daughter died when she was very young, five or so, from leukemia. Her death from a blood disease inspired Rice's vampire subject matter, specifically Claudia the little girl vampire.  IP: Logged |

Umm, she also writes under other names (A.N. Roquelaure is one of them)and those stories are quite different from the other stories she writes, heh heh... "The claiming of sleeping beauty" comes to mind, stories with a heavy S/M element, her stories of that sort is actually very popular in spanking and S/M communities..

Hey Neferemi, thanks for posting some pics of her. There is intensity in those eyes of hers(and a touch of sadness), most author's are inspired or influenced by circumstances that have occurred within their lives. The character Claudia from 'Interview with the Vampire' doesn't surprise me that it had a sad past connection with a loved one. She wanted her to continue to live(at least within books) ------------------

No, sag_girl. We don't know which house Anne Rice's Mars is in because we don't know a time of birth!For songwriting, I would look more at Venus, Neptune, and the 7th House. I wouldn't relate Mars in Aries in the 1st House to artistic ability unless it aspects an "artsy" planet. If I find anything on Rice's info, I will post a copy of her chart with the time.
