Hmm… I’m indeed afraid of intimacy… maybe more specifically of rejection/abandonment than control. Letting ppl ‘in’ means allowing them to see your vulnerabilities. I don’t like the idea of regularly exposing myself to that kind of scrutiny. It’s not that I’m afraid of other ppl telling me what to do necessarily. Most of the ppl to whom I’m close tend to get extremely involved in my life, sometimes to the point of being controlling. I think I can actually deal with that, hah. I’m comfortable with the fact that they even care to make the effort…

I am actually more afraid of the possibility that ppl I would *like* to get close to, might eventually recognize something terrible in me, or something that is not lovable or desirable, that might cause them to abandon me. Basically, I have a lot of trust issues. Unless I’m certain that a person actually wants me (for me, heh), then I will keep up the emotional ice block full-steady to prevent from getting hurt. Once I’m positive that I am wanted/loved, well then, I think there would be music.

Well, i am afraid of letting go, but it's a fear of rejection and ridicule by the other, and my pride won't allow anything like that.
My communication skills are not that great even though they should be with a Merc. in Leo (Saturn squares my Merc. and Saturn in the 3rd).
Self-control yes, but also deep need for contact and affection, which i can't have.

Unfortunately, yes and its a double edge sword. Well since Saturn is the gatekeeper of one's inner self, I wouldn't have chosen no one else but a Scorpio to guard it Lol! However... Scorpio guards it TOO well.

Its not that I have a fear ridicule or Pride Injury. Heck, I have Leo asc. and moon and with that comes an infiniticimal degree of pride Lol! However... What does bug me is my reluctance to let go of my individuality. I worked my ass off all the sake of defining who I am and what I am. Now that I have reached certainty of it, I really don't wanna share the nitty gritty details of my deep inner convictions or feelings... not even with those who I love most. Its just for me to know and you not to find out... and well, that maybe the reason why I am having trouble finding a perminent relationship *Le Sigh.* I just can't let go of my self totally and surrender. Its just not... me.
