Hello, since I got off on the wrong foot wining about the planet Saturn, how about talking about wonderful Jupiter(planet of expantion) in the different house in ones natal chart and how you feel it effects you? My Jupiter is in the 12th house which I feel brings alot of hidden comfort, and good karma seems to be repaid in strange but great ways. It's almost like when I help others, I am helping myself. As though nurturing a philanthropist side of my nature. ------------------ Sun in Libra Moon in Cancer Jupiter in Cancer Venus in Virgo Mars in Cancer Ascendant in Cancer I "FEEL" therefor I am IP: Logged |

Hey there!!My Jupiter is in my 1st house. I absolutely love it there. It makes me happy then usual and it brings me good luck. Iam not the sterotypical Virgo moon and Cappy Asc when it comes to the optimism this planet in the 1st brings. However, I do nothing in moderation, and it is easy for my waist to experience expansion. Note*its close to the second and sometimes interpreted as my 2nd house. I have never had a problem with not enough money. What a blessing!

Hi libraschoice7! My Jupiter is in the 5th house, Aquarius. It is a part of a T-Square, squaring Pluto and Mars. I feel, my Jupiter isn't so strong- I don't like sports, creativity. I don't have an "expansive" love life. So, as always, only the whole chart counts. ByeIP: Logged |

I have Jupiter in Sagittarius in the 9th House ... and I LOVE it there. I'm absolutely infatuated with anything foreign ... foreign languages, ethnic cuisine, other religions etc. I have always found it easy to relate to people whose cultural background is different from my own. In fact, I seem to get along better with foreigners than with people from my own nationality. Hence, I am planning to move abroad as soon as I have finished college. IP: Logged |

I have Jupiter in 5th house in Aquarius, it's also quite aspected and part of two grand trines in air signs. Not a bad placement for an artist. Those who feel like their Jupiter placement doesn't make any sense should try different house systems, I personally use Regiomontanus.IP: Logged |

Jupiter at the end of the 11th house, astro.com says it should be read as Jupiter in the 12th house.I don't know but what it said it was very typical of me besides the part of falling in love all the time and having different partners, that is not me at all, I guess this is also because I have sag as my ascendant. But the true one part that I find being totally me was this:"During the course of your existence you must try to develop intuition and human understanding so that you may be in a position to assist other people with your advice" ^that is exactly what I was wrting about before I came here and saw this thread. But it is not easy ------------------ Sun in Cancer Moon in Cancer Sag Asc. IP: Logged |

I've got jupiter conjunct the sun in the 7th. I like one-on-one relationships, however it's very rare for me to get into a romantic relationship. I tend to go a few years between each one. I found that for the most part relationship expectations of most men towards me are very restrictive, and I invest a lot of time and energy into relationships so I am much more cautious about getting into one.IP: Logged |

Reach for the Stars by Nancy Shavick. Jupiter in Leo/5th house Jupiter in Leo people have high hopes of fame and fortune and love to hear applause for themselves. This planetary combination is a sign of ambitions toward public acclaim, and because these natives have the willpower and determination to reach positions of trust, responsibility, and social or professional prominence, they can get financial backing and the confidence of those with wealth or connections who can help them become celebrities. They often hold high-level positions in the arts and entertainment fields and can gain in theater, film, television, and performing, or any arena where they can be onstage or in the spotlight. Because they love drama, they feel best when thay are the center of attention and only enjoy success if they can gain recognition for their work. They never choose jobs that put them in obscure, retiring, or behind-the-scenes positions, nomatter how much money is involved; praise from others is more important than cash to these people. They tend to pass up well-paying jobs for lower-paying ones that give them publicity or access to people they admire: celebrities, the wealthy, prestigious and prominent people, or powerful business people. Jupiter in Leo natives are rarely the clerk behind the counter; and if they are, it is only in the most exclusive stores. They are seldom personal servants for they loath taking inferior or subserviant roles. If they end up in secondary positions, they become truly eccentric, because they expect others to treat them like visiting royalty and not the housekeeper or janitor. Business owners with Jupiter in Leo often use their own image for advertisements and promotion or name their businesses after themselves. Because they need occupations where they can be in command, they do well as directors of cultural institutions or important enterprises, bank officers, captains of industry, heads of state, diplomats, department heads in corporations, senior partners in law firms, entertainment industry executives, theatrical directors, and advertising agancy owners. These natives can go to extremes in spending money to satisfy their egos or to impress others-especially their romantic interests. They can profit from speculation and risky investments as a result of their sharp intuition, and they thoroughly enjoy reaping rewards and honors for their business acumen. They also benefit in any business that relates to children; but no matter what they do, they can receive acclaim if they develop their talents to the fullest. This combination gives exuberant, expansive, and strong religious sentiments and these natives are natural spiritual leaders with the flair for the dramatic. They can also be tricky charlatans who use florid language for theatrical effect to force their point on others. They are gifted lecturers whose desire is to impress people and win approval. Jupiter in Leo people are fond of exercising power, and their huge egos can be overbearing, especially if they feel unappreciated. Then they will sulk and make everyone around them miserable. They are happiest when satisfied with the effect they are making; but usually they are beloved by everyone and extremely popular, as they are sincere and loyal firends. They are tenderhearted and indulgent parents, and this combination favors the birth of children and much joy through child rearing. IP: Logged |

Jupiter in Pisces, 3rd house I'm a talker. I exaggerate everything. I've been told I'm a maginficient story-teller. I can obsess over little details or I can completely ignore them for the whole picture. I'm really talented in 3rd house crafts, I've noticed that. On top of being clumsy (Sag AC), I move with extremely large gestures that only add to the chaos that I've created. Extremely good relations with my sister...buncha other stuff I'll add later. Reach for the Stars Nancy ShavickJupiter in Aquarius/11th House Jupiter in Aquarius people work well in group endevors to create, advocate, and defend causes that promote liberal, visionary, or humanitarian causes. They are extremly politically astute and can be revolutionaries or grass roots protest organizers whose personalities have an enormous influence on their friends, associates, and communities. They often gain from their companions and go into business with friends or form alliances with like-minded individuals to spread awareness and information for the benefit of others. They make faithful and sincere comrades and they like to know many interesting people in order to gather more ideas to add to the development of their evolved mentalities. They have progressive and idealistic outlooks and often follow unusual or eccentric lines of thought and study. They are independent, broad-minded people who never follow the status quo, conventions, or traditions. Their role is to implant new idieas in the minds of others and their originality comes from a strong intuition and an ability to see the future so they can help improve conditions through their efforts to organize in the here and now. These natives truly care about others-but in a detached, impersonal, and often rude and tactless manner, as they are indifferent to even their own feelings and not prone toward emotional display or affection. Basically they desire the good for majority of the people whose lives they touch, and they work hard to make others happy and productive. These people are dreamers who live way above reality, but fulfilling their ideals is their main priority. They have little love for money, and though sensitive to the material needs of others, they rarely focus on personal finacnial security. Often they will pass up chances to make money if the opportunity interferes with their larger goals. Occupatinally Jupiter in Aquarius natives can be philanthropists, volunteers, and charity workers or can be found organizing political movements, labor activities, and congressional or government work concerned with reform or the public good. They make great radical, organizers of large-scale operations, reformers, outlaws, explorers, adventurers, lecturers, teachers, research scientists, inventors, public relations people who promote talent, products, or individuals they believe in, journalists for liberal print media, radio operators, computer operators, programemrs and networkers, electricians, electrical appliance salespeople, aviators, rocket and space industry workers, television industry personnel, futurists, astrologers, metaphysicians, promoters of spiritual knowledge, psychologists, counselors, advisers, ambassadors, diplomats, statesmen and women, sociologists, drug, alcohol and abuse counselors, and labor relations workers. Anyone who promotes large schemes, works in sports arenas or concert halls, government offices, public works institutions or with groups working to reform laws for the betterment of humanity, will fall under jurisdiction of Jupiter in Aquarius. These natives are attracted to art, music, and literature of all historical periods and cultures, and usually have many interests or hobbies aside from their everyday jobs. These people have unusual or uncommon religious beliefs and can be mystically inclined or attracted to progressive philosophies. They love to travel by air and are urbane and sophisticated world travelers who love to blend in when visiting foreign countries. They are open and friendly people who form bonds with total strangers on their journies; but in the worst sense they can be drifters with high principles who never commit themselves to a community. One book I browsed at a book store claimed that being as Jupiter is the planet of luck and good fortune, that you would be fortunate when you act out the characteristics of the sign your Jupiter is in. So for you, when you act Virgoan:
- Analytical - Creating Lists - Being Ultra Critical, catching all the details - Perhaps being of service - (etc.)
...then you'll reap Jupiterian rewards as a result. ________________________ I have Jupiter in Capricorn, so my means of being lucky is through thorough planning, taking the long route/persistence, and discipline.

I didn't buy the book. I think Jupiter's in it's detriment or something in my sign, Capricorn. For you it would say that you are most fortunate when you act like a Cancer. Creating emotion ties to people, nurturing, doing things associated with the home should all be fortunate for you. IP: Logged |

Jupiter in Cancer from Reach for the Stars.People with Jupiter in Cancer have a deeply ingrained appreciation of home, family, and mother. Their mothers or maternal ancestors are usually a force in their lives through whom they learn about love. They are loyal to their loved ones like no other sign and are liberal providers who protect and nurture happiness and well-being of those they love. They hate to hurt anyone and are the kindest, most giving souls who are beloved by their communities. They are gracious hosts and hostesses who enjoy socializing; they also work well with the public because of their generous and expansive natures. They are openhanded with what they possess, and though they are sometimes used by others, it is the rare Jupiter in Cancer person who is stingy or overcautious about spending. Though they adore traveling, especially by boat, they enjoy returning to the safety of their homes-which tend to be pleasantly furnished and replete with all the trimmings of comfort. These people have a great love of money, so this is an excellent business combination. They tend to shy away from routine salaried jobs as they are always looking for the big opportunity or large-scale project. When they finally find their chance, they play their cards close to their chest-even if they appear daring, they rarely put up their own money or jeopardize their own savings. Instead they hoard their cash and excel at accumulating fortunes by holding on to property or investments for the future. They also retain all possessions they aquire and seldom sell anything they own. This position attracts material benefits and is the luckiest monetary combination, though many of these natives reach middle age before they achieve material success. People with Jupiter in Cnacer are humane and charitable, directing goodwill toward all people. They are highly conscientious in providing for the needs and welfare of others, and often work with charitable or spiritual groups that help feed, house, and clothe the underprivileged. They do well as nurses, midwives, mothers, Mr. Moms, homemakers, child care workers, housekeepers, or any position that relates to domestic science or any business that designs, manufactures, or sells itmes used in the home. They are often found in the food industries as manufacturers, dieticions, cooks, restaurant workers, butchers, grocers, and wholesale distributors. Because the sign of Cancer rules the sea, they can find success as sailors, boat designers and builders, yacht salespersons, marina owners and operators, dockworkers, shippers, captains or crew, and cruise line workers. Thay can gain in business relating to liquids and make natural brewer, wine makers and vinyard workers, bottlers, bartenders and bar owners, gas station owners and workers, water company personnel, research chemists, and people who work with paint and chemicals. Those who work in the apperal industry such as clothing designers, tailors, cleaners, dressmakers, and accessory designers and manufacturers all come under the jurisdiction of Jupiter in Cancer. These natives are curious about mysteries ans metaphysics and can be visionary or prophetic with an intuition that is purely psychic. In religion, they tend to follow the tradition they were raised under, even if they experience a more unorthodox spirituality privately.

Jupiter in the 5th. I've read interps about this that scare the shiit out of me (like where I'm supposed to have lots of children in life ). Its also says I'm supposed to be really lucky in love....barely. My current relationship almost didn't happen. It was by pure luck that it even got off the ground. Oh wait a minute, nevermind. But I think because it is in Taurus, it explains why I often overindulge in things I'm not supposed to.....like food. IP: Logged | |
