This placement is a mess. I get into so much trouble with this..However it makes me step up when need be where as most Pisces might run away like cry babys..I just wish I knew how to keep it tamed..

Plus to add to that which I forgot I have Merc in the 1st house and trMars through my 1st house and I have noticed every since that started like back when it was going through my 12th house I have been up in you face like..I don't like it..Now that I think about it trMars is really helping my Mars in Aries out. I can't remember a time when I have been more on it..

Well I got into this spat with my Aqua SO over the weekend and he was so dead wrong and I waited almost a week to react and well I was right to check him on his behavior but I can go above and beyond with him. I just want him to know that I am not gone be walked over at all. I realize that I can do this with out hitting the roof. The after thought. I am not upset at all about checking him just wish that I knew how to do it in a different way. Also I have Merc in 1st house..I can say exactly what I feel and for Aqua's that can be deadly

I thought Mars in Aries was dignified, therefore making it one of the best placements for Mars?

It is right at home, but depends on how it does with the other things in your chart determines how you handle it. I am a Pisces sun with moon.merc.venus in Aqua and then this Mars in Aries which I do feel is the most dominant of them all..All my action is right there in Mars. I work out kickboxing and I love it. I Know its bc of the Mars in Aries placememt

Sure it is, but I'm sure it's harder for a Pisces to handle. You have to remember placements never stand on their own, they are being integrated into a personality. Sometimes certain parts of ourselves are harder on the rest.

edit: mama mia pretty much said what I was trying to say, hehehe.

I am also a Pisces sun with Mars in Aries, actually I have mars, venus and my moon and Aries and it is hard for me! I get angry too quickly, I have thrown temper tantrums since I was a little girl. I hate to admit this but I have been very violent before which is very hard for my Pisces sun because afterward I am left with an emptiness in my heart for not being able to control my emotion(moon:aries) or my actions and anger (mars in aries). All my life I grew up thinking there was something seriously wrong with me, but now that I am aware of why I am the way I am I have more control over my temper and emotions.

I think its hard with a water sun (particularly a Cancer orn Pisces Sun, not so much a Scorpio one). Especially with Cnacer because they're square by sign so energies are at odds to begin with but also with Pisces because the energies are hard to intergrate. Once I've already let my temper loose, I feel extremely guilty afterwards. Which may be hard to believe for some people, but its the truth.

Mars in Aries makes i difficult for folk to like you - I mean who's gonna like you when you're knocking them down

But seriously, I do understand. I have that combo too! Pisces sun, Aries mars. I'm not violent, I can control that. But my words can be "aggressive", combine that with a virgo Moon *ouch*

Mars in Aries here.
I've always been curious about how this placement manifested itself in me. I always saw it as unfitting, because I don't consider myself an agressive person at all... perhaps that is because of my 12th house Cancer sun, it's just repressed.
But lately I've been realizing that it does make sense... I am notoriously passive-aggressive, I'll feel a lot of anger and bitterness and resentment towards a person, but I will never express it directly. It will come out in, say, undercutting remarks to that person in an e-mail. I won't think the e-mail is that big of a deal, but the other person will respond calling my e-mail a "vicious attack"...
Then again, the e-mail was from a Cancer [me] to another Cancer, so perhaps he just *sensed* my anger through the veneer of the words...

Last night I had a mars in Aries moment, I was getting so angry wanting to badly hurt somebody but I just sat down tried my hardest to relax and breath, it kind of helped. I didn't hurt anybody but it felt like a million years for me to calm down. Slowly I am learning........
