My indecisiveness has been a real pain lately. Especially about school. I STILL have no idea what I want to do. I was thinking about Psychology, but it's too lengthly. I still want to see if I have any potential for a modeling career, but I know of all the things i'd have to do. Work out, miss out on oreos. That kind of thing. Even when it comes to everyday life. It takes me forever to pick out an outfit. I was thinking about getting a tattoo soon and I keep changing my mind. What can I do? I need something stable now. I feel like this trait it holding me back from everything! Do you see anything in my chart that points to what i've been feeling? thanks <3

Hi Babeefoxx...it looks to me like you're going through a Saturn square Pluto transit. Is it really that you're indecisive? Or, are you feeling thwarted and blocked, like no decision is quite right? This transit gives you a sense of urgency to transform yourself, to really make something HAPPEN, but then it seems super-hard to do. For you, the transiting Saturn is passing through your 10th house (career!) and squaring your natal Pluto in your first house (personal identity.) Actually, you've got a lot of Pluto action happening, if I'm reading your chart right--that's all about transformation...Neptune square Pluto (intense yearning and energy, but again thwarted...you've got urges, but it might be that you can't necessarily act on them, or even get clear on the reality of what they're all about; this one is in your fourth house and probably has to do with moving on from your past), and the transiting Pluto sextile your natal ascendent. It's almost like you're in a coccoon, and you'll emerge transformed into a butterfly, but you have to figure out to shed your own skin. And, you're connecting all of your decisions right now very intensely to your personal identity (because your natal Pluto is in that powerful, Scorpio-ruled first house)...you're very aware right now of what you put out in the world as "you", and in a huge hurry, but at the same time not quite ready. You might try reading some books about Pluto (like Alive & Well With Pluto: Transits of Power and Renewal by Bil Tierney) to see if you can use all of this deep, transformational, challenging energy. My advice would be to explore lots of possibilities in a laid-back way. Email or meet with some professors at psychology programs just to talk and brainstorm (I've been a prof--trust me, they're happy to talk to you)...send polaroids to some L.A. modeling agencies (before the drastic move of giving up Oreos!)...and get your hands and/or feet hennaed instead of a tattoo (temporary but beautiful.) Ask yourself some deep questions, find some stability WITHIN this transformation, and don't expect to get everything all "sorted" and "finished" yet...(imagine a caterpiller emerging from the coccoon mid-transformation...ewwww!) You're growing yourself right now. IP: Logged |

Thank you SO SO much, Lucia. That really was the definition of how I was feeling. -Like nothing is ever completely "right". Throughout my day, what ever decision I come to seems like I could go back and change something. I hate it so much. I didn't think it ever had to do with my chart, but the deeper I got into astrology I wanted to see if there was an explanation. How do I shed my own skin? I feel like I am almost done, though I know i'm not. I'm literally tearing up because I feel so pressured to do something NOW and plan NOW but it never happens. I just want to be sure of my future. Do you have any suggestions of how I can do that?IP: Logged |

Explore, explore, explore! It's not time to shed your own skin yet...you're still growing under there...so the way to make the best moves for your future now is probably exploring, planning and research.Remember, this IS your future...seriously, we always actually live in the moment. Re: shedding your skin. Think about how your body grows. You don't sit around thinking, I want my arms to be longer! In the next six months, I insist that I grow three inches! It happens viscerally and naturally and there's nothing "you" can do to control it, even though it's "you" growing and nothing outside you. This is THAT sort of process...you can't force it and don't need to. Trust that it is happening, NOW. Because, it is. In that way, the skin sheds itself...even though, it's "you" doing it...the way your heart beats. In the meantime, write down your dreams, do lots of art, exercise, check out things that interest you (psychology programs, modeling agencies), read some good escapist books and remember that right NOW, you are growing.
