I'm a Sag and my roomie is a Gemini. I also have another good friend who's a Gemini. They're born 2 days apart.

The only catch here is that I have a Gemini Moon.. however, this seems to affect my emotions and sense of security more than my overall personality.

Some major differences I've noticed:

Gemini will bend the truth and think before they speak, Sag will give you the truth as they think it.

Gemini will think things about Sag and the Sag will secretly know they are wrong, because you can't pin us down with the labels Gemini loves to generate.

Sag will confuse Gemini because of their inconsistencies. Gemini normally sees two sides of something, but Sag breaks that because they create MANY sides to something.. unlimited possibility.

Gemini likes security, Sag fears it.

Gemini thinks, whereas Sag intuits.

Gemini is precise, Sag is general.

Sag says what Gemini is thinking, and catches Gemini offguard, even to the point where Gemini denies the thoughts. But Sag knows!

Both signs are often frustrated with each other, but they have a lot to learn.

If a sag seems boring or not passionate around a person, the reasons might be:

1) He or she's ignoring you and not sharing his or her real self, thoughts, feelings with you because the sag thinks that you wouldn't be able to understand him-her.
2)He or she's simply bored of you.
3)He or she is trying to get rid of you in a polite way.

Cos we sags are always full of dreams and we shoot for the stars, and we're always fun to be with around the people we love. Sags are the source of inspiration.
( If only we could learn to think before we speak, everything would be perfect...)

I have lived with gem room mate and have been with a gem guy briefly..

Gems are no where as intelligent as they think they are, due to a sag's mild manner, they try to trick us,, they have no idea how transparent their efforts are... the more a gem press upon a point, the more a sag is irritated... I refuse to give in to trickery and they are irritated to no end by it.

their "gift of gab" could be fascinating for rest of the zodiac, to a sag it appears as 'non stop parrot'..

I feel like telling them "save your energies, the first time you mentioned it in half sentence, I knew from that point what you want... the more you press me for it, the more I'll become obstinate"...

ahhhhh, but gem guys are FUN and are open to suggestions/any fun plan, and very caring too..

To me:

Geminis are mentally more multifacted. Their brains seems to click at a rapid speed. They are usually chirpy, happy, upbeat but in that comunicative way. They are also more prone, however, to get moody. All the Geminis I know are generous with their stuff and with their advice, plus they tend to like movies, and phones, and books.... They tell lots and lots of white lies usually to keep the conversation of life going. My best friend and sister is a Gemini; she tells your secrets sometimes which I don't like. I am a vault with secrets not sure why being a Gemini but it might be my Scoprio Neptune ruling houses 11 + 12.

Sags are active, energetic and optimistic. The ones I know rarely stay in a bad mood for long. They are creative and they have that fire mania that I like which has them physically engaged, a bit on the fast move some times. They are hearty and blunt, quite honest really.

I like the intellectual stimulation of Geminis and the sunniness of my Sag-es.

You did a great job of summing up the differences I see between Sag and Gemini.
I hate to say I feel superior to geminis but I usually do. I find them to be self centered, impatient, glib, unstable, and lack a strong moral character. They always overestimate their intellect, and alwasy think they are right. They're also highly impatient, nervous, and tend to snap and lose their temper very quickly.

I feel that geminis can talk and talk about themselves, but not give a friggin lick about anything I have to say, even though I know my perceptions are broader with greater perspective. Geminis ARE highly manipulative and will use their charm to get ahead of other people, something which I find to be immoral and unfair. They also tend to be pretty physically attractive and hold on to their youthful looks for a long while, somethign that I hope they dont' take for granted.

very early in a relation, it is clear tht sag is impossible to control.. aqua can intimidate anyone but us. yes they are very self-centred but, they are detached.. I like their space and detachment policy... of air signs...

*- libra is too politically correct for my taste..

I've actually found aquarians to be much more politically correct than libras. Sure libras are flaky, but they don't usually attempt to control people, and they really are sweet as friends. Libras act PC but they will laugh at off color jokes. From my experience many aquarians, esp the females, will be highly offended at such jokes. I'm like you, I like to say absurd things, I have really low tolerance for over PCness even though I'm politicallly liberal.

I think it's interesting you perceive Gemini that way and are putting things up in a superior/inferior judgment - the "broader" perspective has just as much importance as the parts and details that make it up. I often perceive Sag as self-righteous - but I have enough Sag in me to know where they are coming from and appreciate what they have to offer me, and in turn they appreciate the perspectives and details I give them that they didn't think of.
