Hi I've been in a relationship with an aqua male for about a month and a half, and I just wanted to know how to deal with him. I know he loves me but he works so much...is there anyway I can lure him to pay a little bit more attention to me. Thanks so much. His Placements:

Grly, I don't know if you had a chance to read my posts on Soul Unions ("Love from an Aqua: Can it be real?"), you will understand the whole dilemna between a Cancer girl and Mr Aqua...We are worlds appart...not that I want to discourage you, but we just don't relate the same way...What I have learned from my experience, is not to expect anything from the other person, but also I have learned what respect is all about. Respect yourself first. I have been in this relationship for almost a year (can we call it really a "relationship", we see each other once every 3 weeks, and sometimes just for 20 minutes, yes he is very busy...), and if I can give you an advise, don't force things, don't expect anything, just be you, with all the good qualities that Cancer girls have, and if you feel he is being distant and aloof, let him be that way, but for you, please continue living your life and don't wait for him!!! I think being with an Aqua is all about learning not to expect anything....the problem is when he comes back from all his "humanitarian explorations", the Cancer girl might not be there anymore...Good luck!!! "Love From an Aqua - Can it be Real?" I'm sorry, but that is terrible. Of course aquas can and do love as deeply as any other sign. I don't want to start an argument here, but I had to say something. I swear, aquas are the least understood of the signs. IP: Logged |

I guess I should have clarified...I don't need help with his aqua tendencies....I don't attribute him working all the time and wanting to achieve to being an aqua. I attribute it to having cap in him. Which I also do have cap in me. I guess I want him to try to be a little bit more focused on me then on work (which I know is a lot) as far as anyone with cap tendencies has. Also he does emote occassionally...but I never attributed him being closed emotionally to being an aqua...I saw it as a male quality. IP: Logged |

To MUSTANG:I'm not sure who you were phrasing you're post to. I didn't start nor have I read the thread, "Love from an Aqua..." I have to say that my topic is completely differet from that particular thread. And I never did ask if an aqua can feel emotions. I know that aquas, scorpios, whichever sign are first human beings, and of course feel emotion. If you have a problem with that particular topic, might I suggest you should post those issues on that particular thread (and not on one that is completely unrelated in topic). Thank you. Aquas don't always want to be understood  Looking at the stats this guy has his Pisces Moon in the 1st, you both have a Scorpio contingent and you are a Cancerian. Without the degrees I can't say whether this forms a grand trine but there is a lot of potential harmony here.. Your Neptune in the same sign as his Mercury & Venus sounds good too, hard to speak without the degrees of course. There is also a Venus-Mars opposition potentially... Thanks I actually just overviewed Crabplanet's topic. And I have to say she actually sounds quite similar to me a couple of years ago when I was dealing with another aqua. I have to say though that I stopped trying to analyze him and peg him as unemotional or anything else (and every other aqua as such) when I realized I was being unfair (mostly to myself). My aqua wasn't treating me right, and I took it...but I came to the conculsion that any guy may it be an aqua or taurus has the potential to be a jerk. And I eventually cut him loose. To waxy thinks for your help:

Howdy, hope you don't mind me joining in, but I have a particular interest in composites.
Can you reconfirm the Aquas birth details, because 14th February 1976 at 7.47am in Newark, NJ in my calcs don't give him Aqua Ascendant and Moon in Pisces, they give him Pisces Ascendant and Moon in Leo...
I thought it worth checking before I put in my two cents worth (Aussie slang for give my opinion).
Oh I will say this however (and I know cos I've had a five year and another 10 year relationship with Aquas), mental stimulation and knowing you are a true friend is much more of a turn on to them than physical or emotional displays. Aquas will love a Cancer girl when he sees her zany sense of humour and her ability to surprise people with her sharp mind and random facts she pulls out mid conversation.
Here's an aside... My ex Aquarian husband sent me a lovely gift this morning via our kids for Mother's Day, (it was a facial massage and makeover which my Leo Ascendant adored), and just as I am typing this I get a text message from him saying "I hope you had a lovely mothers' day". I would never have expected him to do that since we've been apart for ten years, but he's STILL one of my best friends and I can tell you, I value that!!!
But back to the point... if his career is really important to him... rather than trying to lure him away from it, let him know that you are really interested in what he does and that you want to learn more about it. Or learn more about it and then dazzle him with your knowledge!
Otherwise, do something that will excite and surprise him. But whatever you do, always keep him guessing and never make emotional demands or become possessive.
But yeah, check those details and I'll have a look at your composite to see what the real story is.

I'm glad it was the date that was wrong and not his placement of planets.
The first thing I notice when I look at his chart is just how sensitive and serious he is, and also how lofty his ambitions are. I feel like eventually he will start to use his ability to handle money in helping the greater community or in philanthropic endeavours. It will give him much great sense of happiness than just pursuing money for the material comfort it will give him.
The two of you have an incredibly active and dynamic composite chart, but your focus will need to be on mutual projects. You seem to stimulate each other mentally but also impel each other into action. You have enormous compatibilties and sympathy for each other but at times will need to allow each other a good deal more space than some couples. I also don't think your relationship will be able to follow stereotypical paths, you'll have to forge out a relationship that is unique to the both of you.
The main problem for you will be your desire to have more of a stable and orthodox relationship than him, but seeing that you're really very assertive, resourceful and really quite flexible (despite being triple cardinal)... then it could just work. There's no doubt that you will help each other view the world as a much bigger place and expand your consciousness' on a number of levels.

By the way, there's an excellent website called www.astro.com where you can do composites.
Just enter new profile details, then click on "free horoscopes", click on "interactive horoscopes" and "astroclick partner" and then click on the symbol icons within the chart for a brief explanation of the meanings of planets through the houses and aspects.
