Quick question to you all:

I recently downloaded a trial version of a synastry program from www.world-of-wisdom.com. I ran a report and one of the aspects in my chart is Venus square Ascendant.
Here's the interpretation that sort of struck a soft spot in me:

"You have strong attachments, both professionally and to your parents, and have some problems with loyalty and allegiance when love comes into your life. Partnership means that old bonds have to fade away and new emotional commitments made. You will often find that friendships and romantic attractions run counter to the demands of long-term relationships. Which way you choose to go has a lot to do with how susceptible you are to bribes, both emotional and material."

I've been in a relationship for nearly 3 months now, and prior to reading this report I had been feeling the stress of trying to balance existing friendships with the relationship I'm trying to establish. I find myself being pulled in two directions, and the bribery the interpretation describes is exactly how I feel! I don't want to feel obligated to see anyone.

I'm used to having the freedom to see 10+ friends and/or acquaintances per week without trouble, and this just isn't possible anymore due to my already busy schedule. I work full-time and take a summer class two nights a week for a total of 6 hours.

Does anyone else have trouble finding this healthy balance? I'm guessing it's normal to find it hard within the first few months of a relationship, but I'd like to hear other people's experience or suggestions.

I think maybe it's time for me to narrow down my friendships to those I am truly close to and care about.
