If you have a stellium in one sign or house, does that mean you are more like that sign than your Sun sign? I have five planets in Sagittarius. Five. Three (or four, depending on which house system is used) are in one house, and two (or one, again depending on which house system is used) are in another. Would you say that makes me take on more qualities of that sign and/or the house ruler they occupy? ------------------ Sun Aqua, Moon Sagg, Asc Taurus IP: Logged |

Your sun, in my experience will always be the true you....The sun represents your self, "ego." You have to consider the other plantes and what qualities they bring to your personality and "color" your sun.... I have Mars, Merc and Jupiter one right after another in Aqua in the 3rd, opposed to Uranus with Saturn in Aqua in the 3rd as well, and while I am highly Aquarian, I am just as Piscean. I call myself an Aquarian colored Pisces... IP: Logged |

A stellium is three or more planets in one sign or in one house. Some say it needs to be five planets in one house, but most astrologers use three. It can also be three or more planets in conjunction. I look at it as three or more planets in the same house, or three or more planets in the same sign. I'm not saying that my Sun is negated, I definately am an Aqua, but I think that I am a lot like sagittarius. Besides, Jupiter is the planet most emphasized in my chart - overwhelmingly so. Almost half my planets are in sagittarius. Two of those planets are in the 8th house, which has sagittarius on its cusp and three are in the 7th, which has scorpio on its cusp. ------------------ Sun Aqua, Moon Sagg, Asc Taurus IP: Logged |

Do the degrees have to be close to each other to form a stellium?IP: Logged |

Define "close." I would say, yes, because if they aren't close in degree they would most likely not be in the same house...right? Maybe someone else should answer this question... ------------------ Sun Aqua, Moon Sagg, Asc Taurus IP: Logged |

Mustang...How do the Saggies effect you in your life?? I have a dear friend who is an Aqua sun. He has Venus, Mars and Jupiter in close conj in Pisces in the 1st, his Aqua sun is in the 12th. He and I have the most amazing synastry, and I have noticed that when he is around me, a Pisces sun, that he is very sweet, caring attentive and he gets my Aqua nauture going like no other, thinking, comunicating, intellectualizing, but when we are not together, he floats away into the icy, airyness of his Aqua sun and becomes detached, aloof. I think the sag influences make me optimistic. Even though I am very realistic, I usually have amazing optimism that things will be better, this, even if I am feeling like total crap. I even believe in miracles. I believe in the power of positive thinking and feel I can do ANYTHING I set-out to do if I really focus on it and believe I can do it. I am athletic. I am a person who NEEDS physical activity to be happy. I thrive on it. I am very competitive in sports and during conflicts. I am very philosophical. I love reflecting on just about anything. I am also very honest. I love traveling and always wanted to live in a foreign country. I also want to live in different places. I cannot live in the same place I grew-up. I have to see what it's like to live in different places.I have to experience the world. The negative saggie trait of foot-in-mouth disease is also very me.

A "stellium" is three or more planets in consecutive conjunction (a conjunction is when two planets are 12 degrees or less in distance from each other). So the planet A is 12 degress or less to planet B, and then planet B is 12 degrees or less to planet C. A "compact stellium" is when the distance from planet A to planet B is 12 degress or less and planet B is contained within. A compact stellium has a much, much stronger influence. The strongest stelliums (those with the most influence) are those with all three planets forming a consecutive stellium in the same sign and in the same House. Your stellium is also affected by which House it's in (someone with a 6th House stellium might identify with Virgos, etc). Here's some stellium trivia: Jeanne Dixon (a famous Atrologer who predicted the Kennedy assassination and was Nancy Reagan's astrologer) said that the leader of the New Millenium/Age of Aquarius would be born in February 1962 on a specific date, location (I think Israel but can't remember exactly), and time when there was a stellium of eight planets in Aquarius in the 8th House. Dani California ~ You have Jupiter conjunct Mars, but not a stellium. If Saturn were in the same House, I would likely "forgive" the extra degree (some astrologers are very by-the-book on the 12 degree rule, others are a little bit flexible). But since they aren't in the same House... nope. That doesn't negate any of the Virgo influence on you (especially with a conjunction in the 1st House), because anyone with three planets in a sign is going to have a lot of that signs energy - just not on a stellium level. MUSTANG ~ What House is your Sun in? And would you mind posting what degrees and Houses your five Saggi planets are in? I'm just curious to see where they are for you. IP: Logged |

Nef I will NOW be looking out for that AQUA!!! Since I was born in mid March, 1962, with all of my Aqua stuff---well that just sends shivers up my spine....cause I know that that particular arrangement of planets is possible for that time frame!!! 8 planets would be a stretch, tho, given maybe the moon and sun and possibly Merc if late in Feb adds up to 6... Interesting!!! IP: Logged |

MUSTANG ~ That's a really compact stellium of Saggi in the 7th House! I was wondering about your Sun's House because I thought you might have it in the the 9th House, which would further emphasize your identity with Sag. You also have that conjunction of Venus & Moon in Sag in the 8th to add. Libraschoice ~ It sounds like you have a stellium. What are their degrees? Hippichick ~ The "Aquastell Aquariuns" were born from 22 Jan through 19 Feb, 1962. February 5th was the actual "Grand conjunction in Aquarius" but the dates are extended two weeks on either side to include Aquarius Sunners (not as far as March, though). If you know anyone born during Jan 22nd through Feb 19th 1962, refer them to: http://aquarius1962.org or http://aquariandigest.blogspot.com/2005/03/1962-stellium-in-aquarius.html And they can join up with their fellow Aquastellars! I looked up Dixon's exact prediction and it was for February 5, 1962 at 2:00 pm in Bethlehem, Israel that eight planets would be in Aquarius in the 8th House. Also, some think this person is "the antichrist." IP: Logged |

Cat71 ~ You have a compact stellium with Uranus, Sun, and Mercury. Venus is included with those in a looser stellium. Pluto isn't included because it's in the 4th House and it's 14 degrees away (more than the standard 12 degrees) from the next planet. Personally, I might consider it in the stellium if it were either in the same house or much closer to Uranus. A Libra stellium in the 5th House makes me think of a movie set designer or a costume director for a theater company! Hippichick ~ It's all in how you use it! Too bad DoctorGuy isn't using all that special Aquarian-ness... If you find his chart, let us know. I would be really interested to know his Ascendant. IP: Logged |
