There's another thread on this exact thing here somewhere.

Aqua is for water, not Aquarius.

The spryt part I got creative with the spelling. I've always loved fairies, trolls, wizards, elves and the elementals. Hence, aquaspryt/water sprite.

69 twas a good year among other things

"Azala" is the Goddess of Air (I'm Sun ) from a Cirque du Soleil show called Dralion (DRAgon-LION, or East meets West). I found out later that Azala is also a character in the ChronoTrigger game.....
Azala the Heirophant was now able to execute tasks, although at a much lower level than she once had been able to. The rune on her shoulder had the ability to focus passive waves of psychic energy which were emitted from her into an indiscernible force surrounding her like a shield. When disabled through force,it will continually attempt to recreate itself through the excess energy radiated from her.

"ksh" are just my initials -- I pronounce it "ah-ZAHL-ah-kesh"..... or just Zala for short

I thought your nick was really interesting, izo -- very inventive

You knowflakes sure have interesting nicknames!
Zala , very impressive! And it is even more impressive that it becomes you
And thank you!

My nickname is an amino-acid, one that is specific for elastin and it is not of the 20 essential amino-acids. "Izodesmozina" is the Romanian version of "isodesmosine", so I guess it stands for: being Romanian , flexible, uncommon and a medicine student.

Keep it up everybody! I am still curious!

Ahhhh... Zala, I'd always secretly wondered about your name. Very exotic, especially with your initials tagged onto the end.

My name reflects that I play acoustic guitar mostly. When I signed up here I wasn't being the most creative with my name. I think I'd used this name somewhere else, so I figured it would be easier to remember if I stayed consistent.

I think I'd like to change it to AcousticGarden now, so that I can keep these initials that have become such a part of my persona here.

I use the nickname Fluke because most of what happens to me in my life seem to happen by flukes, and because I myself am a fluke.
My mother was told after she had two children (my older sister and brother) that because of an infection after the birth of my brother she was unable to have any more children, which was ok since they already had two. Eight years later she was suddenly and surprisingly pregnant with me

pidaua- To Make Glad in Navajo.

I was given that name as a camp counselor years and years ago because no matter what we were doing or how many times my Saggie long legs got tangled up.. I was always laughing and smiling... and it made others laugh that I could be talking away, trip over a stump and yet keep going without missing a beat

I am insanely mad about wolves.

Kamots was the name given to the Sawtooth wolfpack Alpha male. It means "to go free" in Lakota language.

This particular wolf pack was introduced in the Nez Perce Reservation in northern Idaho, because the wolf population was not enough and the ecosystem was getting unbalanced.

The Scientist that designed this project, Jim Dutcher, was very worried about the survival of the pack and knew it was all up to Kamots to make the right choices to lead the pack to safety. He did so over the years, reproduced and the pack is still alive, though Kamots died from his wounds exactly seven years ago (2nd June 2000), after being dethroned by one of his brothers.

This wolf created such a strong bond with Jim Dutcher that he recognised him and licked his face like crazy after a whole year of not seeing eachother at all (the scientist used to howl to meet the pack every so often).

If anybody else in here loves wolves, the documentary is called "Living with Wolves" by Jim Dutcher and it takes us through every step of the story since the wolves were pups.

Sorry to write such a long post but I always celebrate this wolf's life on the 23rd of May (birthday) and 2nd June (day of death).
