Im so sorry to bug you all but I am in serious panic. I know i have been complaining that I am freaking out that my bf is about to go through a Saturn transit which im terrified will end our relationship. It was pretty shaky when Saturn entered his 7th house...and by pretty shaky i mean we were on the verge of ending things. Then during the retrogade everything fixed itself. Not completely, but it took a LOT and i mean A LOT of work and I feel we are more mature or more in tune with each other's needs. Or so I would hope. But im scared its just the retrogade that fixed everything and when Saturn hits his DC again I will have to go through Hell again. Now I find out that Uranus is transiting his 1st house for the next 7 years which also signifies end of relationships. So I am sorry for being such a fixed moon (despite being a Gemini i abhor changes they make me cringe) but should I just be prepared for the worst. What gets to me is that it is HIS transit and thus completely out of my control. I cannot gamble with my emotions like that (Scorpio moon and all). But the thing is this is someone I could really see myself working out with and spending the rest of my life!!!! I know i endlessly worry about everything in life, but this is trully upsetting me. All help soooooo appreciated!

Thank you all!
~BUD~

P.S. if you could give me any feedback (especially positive news lol) I am very greateful.

Hi BUD

I have your chart, but haven't looked at his yet..... I want to address your freakout
Steven Forrest has written:

"But we reject the notion that these minute-by-minute astrological forces (transits) make your decisions for you. They might affect your moods. They might help define the developmental challenges you are facing. But they don’t create events. That’s your department."

You have probably read before that Thoughts Are Things. What plays on the cd-player in your head is what you will make manifest in your life. If you think you will break up (because of an orbiting gas ball in the sky) then there's a good chance that you WILL. I'm here to declare PMA in force -- Positive Mental Attitude!!!!!

Another thing Steven Forrest wrote, for you to take heart in:

To me, in the realities of the astrological counselling room, there are
two immutable premises:

There is no manner of astrological interaction between two people that
is so inherently sweet that enough selfishness, confusion about sex, or
immaturity cannot turn it sour.

There is no manner of astrological interaction between two people that
is so inherently bitter that enough patience, devotion, and humility can
not only make it last, but make it something precious to both people.

Believe in yourselves and in the strength of your bond!! You two have been thru quite a bit and survived. Your best hope of continuing your association is to keep the freakout under your hat and Trust in the Universe to take you where you need to go. Worrying about not being able to control events is a waste of your precious energy.

Hang in there sweetie!

OOOHHHH Zala!!! Thank you sooooo much! I just got this book (apparantly the writer does transits on astro. com Robert Hand) and its sooo negative. And a part of me wants to return it but another part is like ehhh at least its something. Plus im an anxious person by nature, just the idea of loosing control is killing me. The thing is that its HIS transits, and he doesnt pay attention to things like that or look for deeper meaning. Thats why im scared.

Oh wow Zala, thank you soooo much! You are trully amazing! This is one of the reasons I love Lindaland, its awesome people like you who actually could calm me down, which is not so easy really. Thank you thank you thank you!!

I have that book too Some of the interps are downright depressing, to the point of contemplating (whatever). But it does offer another viewpoint, shall we say an elucidation of The Dark Side

A Gemini, anxious by nature?? You are kidding, right??

Get ready for the ride hon -- you can handle this roller coaster When one-half of a couple goes thru a difficult transit, the other will be along for the ride. You want to ride with him, doncha?? Then try to put your fears aside and trust in the process (I know -- easier said than done)

PS: A little "light" reading --
http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/012497.html

And one more note: Saturn will scream thru the rest of Leo and hit Virgo on Sept 2/3 this year (into his 7th house). It'll trine his Moon and Neptune (no real doom 'n' gloom there), but it will square his Sun, Mercury and nSaturn around the same time. I have some good Saturn reading for you, but must sleep now.....

Thanks a ton, i definately want to be along for the ride. LOL even though im terrified of rollercoasters. Both metaphorically speaking and literally lol. And i read that thread before and absolutely loved it. Its listening to it thats the hard part, im sadly cynical by nature. But thank you so much you definately cheered me up

edit: thank you so much. Im curious what would a Saturn squaring natal Saturn and Sun be like. Maybe my fear of Saturn is because when it transited my natal Sun and opposed my natal Saturn was probably the worst time in my life. It was so rediculously bad that just thinking about it makes me cringe. I was trully on the brink of ending my life. But i did survive a stronger person. It was in my 9th house and I walked away completely redifining what I believe in and making it stronger. So it was good....but it hurt... so much. But it was my transit and thus in the end ultimately about me and my being. His transit would make him wiser about relationships and redifine what he wants. I just fear being a tool.

edit :2: Sept 2 is a wedding of a mutual friend...ay...more like his friend (the guy) is marrying my friend. I thoroughly dislike the groom though.

I have recently experienced quite a few "powerful" transits myself. The one thing that I have learned from mine was that no matter what changes or how many changes happened in my life, these transits did not change who I was or what I wanted. They merely showed me the things that I had so easily overlooked...

The problems that this transit did and could highlight in your relationship and bf are not problems that it created, but ones that are there and more than likely if left alone could subconsciously poison your relationship after having been left unattended for a long period. Look at this as an opportunity to identify and conquer head on those problems / desires / needs.

I am a Scorp sun / Gem moon, so I can understand your need for stability and lack of change to some degree. But, another thing that I learned through my transits is adaptability. I realized that sometimes an immutable adherence to a set way of achieving a goal can sometimes inhibit achieving that same goal. You just have to decide which you value more, your way or your goal. In this case, it would seem that your goal is going the long term with your bf. Just keep in mind that if that is really your goal, then it should not matter how you reach the finish line just as long as you reach it together. There I hope you can find both the stability and adaptability you need to make it through this transit (and anything else your relationship should encounter) with your bf and your relationship intact.

I hope that you and your boyfriend are able to get through this not only together, but for the better!

Ooh alcheme, I definately see what you're saying. It did in fact highlight some issues that were apparantly were always there which also freaked me out. But you are right best to deal with them than have them ruin the relationship. But thats the thing if I knew that working on it and stuff would definately save it and make it better i would without hesitation choose to stick it out. But im plagued by this fear that I will just be a tool for his learning only to make his relationship better with someone else.

It certainly doesnt matter to me how we reach it as long as we reach it together. My fear is that we wont reach it and I will be a lesson for him to better reach it with someone else. Also just the thought of working so hard on something (im not one to work on relationships usually and i have been working more on this one than anything ever) and just having it fail is very depressing.

Thank you so very much for the kind words and wishes.

P.S. on a lighter note its really cool that ur a Scorpio Gemini and im a Gemini Scorpio. I wonder what thats like? I have never known Scorpio Geminis but get along awesomely with Scorpio Libras and Scoprio Aquas.

relax b.u.d. ..

'n happy birthday !!

i've not looked at the charts properly .. but if you feel a sense of panic for some reason ..
it's more than likely to do with the Uranus transit in your chart ..
it's squaring your natal Chiron .. that's just next to your natal Sun ..
and those two are opposite your natal Saturn ..

transiting Saturn is working up to square your natal Jupiter ..
( thats it for any challenging aspects from t.Saturn .. for you )
so maybe a slight 'uh-oh' feeling as Saturn challenges your faith somewhat ( natal jupiter )
but t.saturn won't be long in passing ..

that's without birthtime .. an 'on the fly' peek at your chart ..
'cause you seem to be the one who's panic'ing .. you didn't mention any panic inducing events ..
'xcept for looking at your b/f's transits ..

HD ~

Ah yes, the Great Green Anxiety-Leveler
But seriously, if you've done up his chart, what do you think of the Saturn on DC to Sun/Merc on IC?? It might seem a good idea for BUD to be prepared for possible behavior/mood changes (in a Gemini????? ) coming up in her fella..... ie, the "foundation" of his interior landscape could be challenged/shaken by a restructuring of his relationships with other people.....

BUD ~

I wonder if you're feeling this coming:

Over the next few weeks, Neptune and Saturn are moving into position for their final opposition at the end of the month. Back to my analogy from last August of falling trees. Saturn represents the structures in our lives. Neptune represents the dissolving of those seemingly totally firm structures. The large tree in the forest is about to tip over. It is an old tree. The old tree’s purpose has been served. The time to move on and create new structures has arrived. Once the tree tips over, all the OTHER plants in the clearing in the forest will have more sunlight, more rain, more nutrients and a brand new lease on life. The old tree will become part and parcel of their being as they go forward. It will nourish the other plants and they will carry part of the old tree forward with them into the next phase of their lives.

We’ll all be working in a big cloud of mist or unclear vision of what is going on while the tree starts the final fall between now and the end of June. Know that it is for the greater good and evolution of your being. It might feel a bit sad or sorrowful. You might be a bit scared or anxious. That is okay. That is exactly how you should be feeling. Excited but scared. Anxious but somehow okay. Angry but clear about what you have to do or what you believe. Content with your choice but a bit unclear about what is coming next. It is the end of a major chapter of your life. If you are like me, you can reread that last chapter a couple of times before you put the book down. I always hate ending a good book ~ especially if I’ve grown to love the characters! So forward we go, but you can take one last glance or read aloud that exciting chase or love scene! Or you can quietly close the book, put it on your shelf or give it to a dear friend to read.

.. his chart ??? .. i've not done either with b.t. ..
**.. what do you think of the Saturn on DC to Sun/Merc on IC?? .. **
a panic certificate .. ??? .. maybe organics a bad idea uh .. ((( scary music )))
maybe he will propose marriage ??? ..

he's got a Uranian transit on as well ..
conjunct natal Jupiter and square his natal Uranus ...

and tChiron trining natal Chiron ..

depends on what path he sets himself ..
either way it's Uranian energies versus Saturn vibes ..

by the time the Uranus transit is over ..
transiting Saturn will have moved to 20 degrees in Virgo

so till end 2008 he will have to deal with those two opposing energies in his life ..
and for b.u.d. the Uranian transit also applies ( see prev post ) ..

re: mood changes .. well for a noon chart .. tPluto is quite conjuct with natal moon ..
on the fly is without b.t. .. simply cause it takes too much time to get the co-ordinates ..

Thank you all sooo much!

Thanks for the reading Zala, i will definately go through everything.

Happy Dragon - LOL that made me smile. Thank you so much for the bday wishes! Don't panic its organic. Panic is actually a normal state of mind for me, but sometimes it gets ovewhelming like yesterday. I usually need a good slap or a calming voice just telling me to breathe. Thank you guys so much for that! Thank you so much. Usually most my panics have to do with my relationship. This is my first time putting so much into a relationship so i feel I have a lot to loose.

Zala - its possible thats what it is but I dont feel exhited or know what I have to do. Its more of just anxiety and fear. Usually common for me. I hate changes lol. I definately hate ending a good book. Both literally and figuratively.

P.S. Happy Dragon - do you mean transiting Pluto is conj his natal moon? Is that anything like having it natally. Cuz im a moon conj pluto in Scorpio. That cannot be a fun thing for him to have since he hates emotions. Poor guy. I actually kinda like that aspect of my chart, its good and bad but it gives me a certain emotional experience that I simply wouldnt be me without.

Really guys thank you all soooo much! This week has been a bit hectic (for some strange reason i always have terrible days prior to my Solar Return, since i was a child).

Hi BUD... lol I see you are online at myspace right now too, I'm PM you there. Well I must agree that the transits represent psychological changes for us, and I also agree that we are free to create are own reality AND that what manifests for us is up to us by nature of our mindset. Positive mindset will attract positive experiences just as a negative mindset will attract negative experiences. That doesn't necessarily mean that everyone who's experiencing something negative deserves it because they were thinking negatively though... it's a bit different to that... but anyhoo... the point I guess of all this, is that you know me and my bf are experiencing the same transit but it's to our composite. And one thing I've been doing a lot of learniing about is this positive thinking. It really does work. I've found that I can manifest something more positive simply by handing it over to God and the universe and knowing that my positive thoughts will be fulfilled. It really has worked. There are still things to work on as you know (I'll PM you), but by meditating more and changing my mindset, I am seeing small but significant changes. Things still do go wrong, but I can always change that.

No matter how your life has been up until now, you have the freedom and the power to hit the reset button.

oh GeminiLover i try my best on the positive thinking. I really do. And it works from time to time but once in a while i just start feeling down and freak out. Kinda like when i posted this thread. The thing is though with a composite you are both rather in control of the situation. Here i would feel like the method to his learning.

Its the "im making him a better bf for someone else" that kills me. Lol Scorpio moon style.

Thanks for the help love, really a ton

I know exactly what you mean... but do you know what I realised? Ok so sure I'm having a bad day today, but overall my positive thinking is now a different kind of mindset than what I used to try. Before, even though I was trying to think positive, by being hopeful that things might change, overall I was still focusing on what was lacking. Therefore my focus was still negative. So to turn my focus positive, it was about letting go of what was lacking and believing instead that what I wanted was already so. So I have been putting it out there to the universe as if it already exists... because it does. So it's not just about trying to be positive, it's about actually changing our mindset, our perception, and our belief. I know that all this probably sounds completely wacko. But whenever I put it into practice, it works. I just need to do it more often and more consistently.

About a composite being a combined effort... I actually don't feel that's really the case with me and my bf. So far it's been all up to me, because for one thing he doesn't focus on transits and therefore does not see exactly what's going on, and for another he does not believe he needs to do anything. So in effect it has all been left up to me to be aware of the Saturn influence and to use my knowledge of it to the best of my abilities. So even though it would be easier if he was taking part in making something positive out of the transit, I believe that my own actions and beliefs have the power to affect the composite influence. eg I've found that when I change myself through my perceptions and so on, he tends to change with me. The Saturn retrograde was actually the time when all of these realisations fell into place for me, so now that Saturn is direct I think I'm wiser about how I handle things and about how this affects us as a couple. So I do think that even though this is your bf's transit, you do both affect each other and maybe it's important for you to do the same as I have and see how you can change things by the way you handle the situations that come up... just an idea.

Oh and I know, I've thought the same thing too - I'm turning him into a good bf just so someone else can get the benefits... lol... don't think that way.

Hi, BUD!
Just a thought: did you look at the transits to the composite planets? I think they're pretty important in seeing how the relationship "reacts" to the present conditions.
Keep thinking positive . Good luck to you!!!

Well, I didn't look at them before, but it stroke me when Saturn was at 19* Leo, squaring the composite Saturn, Asc, DC... Jolly! www.grupovenus.com has a report on transits to the composite.
