Hi, Jane!

I don't have an answer for your question, just a suggestion: did you check the Arabic Part of Widowhood? Does it make any specific aspects?
Mine is in Scorpio, conjunct Saturn, Pluto, Anubis and opposite my Child and Union . My guy also has Part of Widowhood opp Union... What can it mean?

Ok, let's not panic. What planets do you have in your 7H? How about the 9H? It suppose to indicate a second marriage. Where's your Juno? Mine is in a double sign - Pisces (2 marriages ), so is my guy's - Sagi... You know what? I don't want to think about this! Period. No death, no widowhood, just happy thoughts!

Anyway, about your Sabian - I have good knews!! That is the interpretation for the 4th degree of Taurus!! For the 5th it's:

quote:
5-6 deg Taurus
Cantilever Bridge Across A Deep Gorge

It is the degree of our composite SUN!!! And I think it is amazing! So lighten up, honey! No widowhood for you! [And for me, neither, ok? Happy thoughts, no matter what]

It's not a double-whammy, thank God! But we both have that aspect in our natals (Union opp Part of Widowhood).

Now you lost me...
I know I have my Karma at 2deg59 Gemini and he told be about this: "The Garden Of The Tuileries In Paris", which is the Sabian for Gemini 2-3.
I wouldn't mind him explaining it again either . Pretty please, IQ!

Anubis is the Egyptian version of Hades/Pluto... Mine conjuncts Pluto . Cute.

**edited** I meant by that that he is the God of death and of the dead and he rules the underworld.

Yup, I do! They quincunx the Saturn-guys (I think... I don't have my chart in front of my eyes... but I know for sure that Karma quincunxes Saturn and it trines BML ; Saturn squares this chick (plus Anubis, Pluto and whatever lies there with them).
Oh yeah, and my Nodes are direct... Do you have something on them? I think I read somewhere that this means the end of a karmic cycle. I sure hope so!!!!

I shouldn't read this board when I'm drunk. It really messes with my comprehension.

What are you celebrating?

I was celebrating one year of sobriety.

Actually, I was just kidding about drinking. I was blaming my confusion over sabians on being drunk. I can barely grasp them when sober, I'd be completely lost when drunk.

Hi Jane,
5.00000001 Taurus also should be read as 5-6 Taurus. Hence, the widowhood/widower Sabian does not apply to you. 4.001 to 4.599 falles into 4-5 Taurus Sabian.

I am very familiar with this Sabian because my Chiron is 4.5 Taurus. My dad's True Node is 4.5 Taurus. He became a widower years ago and the trauma of seeing his sadness transformed me overnight from a young Marty type to a John Constantine type for several years.

This is a scary Sabian symbol. In many cases, it does refer to a past life trauamtic incident.

Your incident of losing a friend would have more to do with his Pholus being afflicted.

At the highest level of interpretation, this placement refers to the exchange of the unused inner feminine/masculine energy for
knowledge of eternity. This happens very rarely though.

Wow, two edged sword. I'm so relieved that it's not my sabian, but I also feel very badly for the pain your dad and you endured.

Thanks for responding and for clearing up my sabian confusion.
