Can anyone point me in the right direction? I want to cast the chart of my company. An entity, not a person. How do I do this?

I guess I'll need the same information as a person. But, do I need a location?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Hi Beowulf!

Love the name and the character! Have you seen the new movie, Beowulf and Grendel?

Anyway...here is a link from the Magi site for GE and Microsoft. They use a traditional chart for the date that it was incorporated. The second link has more examples of other corporations if you scroll down and look to the right.

Hope this helps!

I've cast "entity" charts at astro.com before -- just choose "Event" instead of Male or Female.....

Yeah, I tried that, but I got held up by the fact that I couldn't enter a location. Do you need the location?

Couldn't you use the first physical location of the company building?? If not, then the city of incorporation??

PS: Or if it's just a one-person company (ie, you ) then use your home address?? That's what I would use for my little sole-proprietorship.....

Good thinking! The location was Cardiff, UK. The government office for incorporating companies, called Companies House.

I guess I could use my own home address as that's the place where the office is. However, I had the 'idea' of starting my own business in my head for years (it's also a North Node requisite of mine), does that make any difference. My intuition would tell me no, but I'm doubtful.

How do you work out the time? Do you use noon/Midday?

And what happens when you change the name of the company a few years later and you have a new date of incorporation. The date of name change?

My opinion (and these are all just my opinions – I’m not an expert) would be that the original chart would still pertain – after all, if you change a child’s name it’s still the same child in the same body On the other hand, your company with new name would be re-born, delivered into existence by the stamp of incorporation at Companies House….. Noon would give you the basic planetary positions, except for the Asc and the Moon which moves about a degree about every two hours…..

That's okay Zala. I value your opinions. I've never had this kind of chart cast before. A little unsure how to go about it. Just thinking out loud I appreciate your help.
