Topic: HELP! I feel like an idiot! (synastry!)

I've posted many times on here that my boyfriend had a Sag ascendant. He was very vague about the information(time) etc that he gave me...I found out yesterday after he got the correct time that he has a Cancer ascendant! WOW!!
Now I can't find any synastry charts online! and I really need help finding one and have someone help me understand our aspects (not really good with those)! I'd really really appreciate if someone could tell me where to do a free synastry chart online or do it for me...and possibly explain some things.Our info is:

This one looks a little odd...if that's not whats necessary to analyze here's this one...

Ok, now I'm not an expert on synastry ... but from a quick overview I think you have some very nice aspects there ... One of the first things I noticed is his Descendant conjunct your North Node. I have a very similar aspect with my special guy ... and it is a very magical aspect to have. You also have a grand trine consisting of your Venus, his Sun and Saturn/Neptune conjunction. Grand trines are always nice to have in a synastry chart, especially when they include Venus (for the romantic attraction) and Saturn (for the stability). Your Venus is also sextile his Jupiter, which again is a very sweet aspect. Your Moon is also conjucnt his Chiron which can create a feeling of having known the other person before you met them.
On the negative side your Moons are square, which can indicate some emotional misunderstandings. But your Ascendant is in the same sign as his Moon (and vice versa), so this might even things out. I have a similar aspect with my guy. Our Moons are square (not by orb, but by sign), but my Ascendant is conjunct his Moon and I have no problems understanding where he's coming from emotionally. I just took a quick glance at the chart, so I'm sure I overlooked some aspects. For more detailed interpretations of interaspects between charts I find Cafe Astrology ( http://www.cafeastrology.com/synastry/interchartaspects.html ) to be quite helpful. Well, I've had a Sag sun boyfriend and I thought maybe the similarity was right since I thought he was a Sag ascendant. I think the reason why I feel like so familiar with him is from what you pointed out. Thanks again!

No need to feel like an idiot. These things happen. As you now know, it's always best to have the exact time and place of birth when dealing with the science of astrology. Both of you are human beings, so whatever you felt about your relationship will still be correct and valid. Only now you will be able to apply a different set of parameters to your relationship and gain more insight into why this relationship works. I would say, looking at your chart, even though you have Libra rising at the critical angle of the Ascendant, it is a weak ascendant. The sign of Scorpio would be significantly more important in any interpretation because it dominates your first house. Also you have Pluto in your first house. However, Libra features will still be present because the critical angle, the angle of significance, the ascendant, is 28 degrees of Libra. So libra will still act as the channel through which you view the world, although, Scorpio will dominate much of your behaviour and responces to your view of the world. And now that you know his true ascendant, Cancer, you can see why you get along. Scorpio and Cancer will rub along together very well indeed. ------------------
