Topic: Any ideas on the Mid Heaven

Hey, I know that the Mid Heaven is suppose to reflect your standing in society and public image. For instance I have no planets in the 10th house, but I have Taurus conjunct the MC. Beauty is a thing for me. I like all things that are beautiful, paintings, pictures, music, people and I have those things in my life. But one thing that I noticed is that I don't get along with Tauruses that much. Well, the ones I knew I did admire them in a way, but I've found out later that these people were jealous of me and in competition with me.
What were your experiences with people whose planets fell or conjuncted your MC?

i think it depends on the aspects that you have going to the midheaven that effects how others recieve you.i have sag. on my midheaven, and i get along well with them...we compete but we also cheer eachother on. my moon is conjunct my midheaven and is unaspected...maybe that's why i get support because of the no aspects.
but capricorn planets are also in my tenth house, and now and then i have trouble with a capricorn....and usually it's there own personal issues that make things a muck. IP: Logged |

I have mc is in virgo. We usually have mutual admiration, probably because i have venus trine mc. Some, i do get along with them. The others, once i get to know them, as you said are jealous. I dunno bout this but i have mc square mercury in sag, conjunct asc. ------------------

You mean you have Taurus ON the MC?  I have MC in Libra. No planets there either, but for the record...two men I've been strongly attracted/drawn to (one my boyfriend, the other a very close friend) have their Ascendants exactly conjunct my MC. A lot of my closest friends, and my sister have Libra Moons, which fall there. Making them feel extremely important and significant in my life and what not.
To be honest, I haven't met too many people who's planets fall within my 10th house...or at least I haven't been aware of their planets falling in my 10th house because I've never checked.

Maybe the jealousy stems from them feeling like you're trying to out-Taurus them? I have a Leo MC, and I haven't experienced more problems with competitiveness with Leos than with other signs. In fact, I tend to get along very well with most of the Leos I know. I can even tolerate the ones who have the more annoying Leo traits, more than I can tolerate other signs who express the negative aspects of their sign. I have a Leo Moon too, so that probably helps with compatibility and empathy. (And I'm a Sag Sun, so that also helps.) I also have Jupiter, Mars, and my NN in my 10th house, but they're in Virgo. I've had many Virgo friends. It's one of the signs I click the most effortlessly with. My sun is exactly conjunct my bf's MC. We're competitive with silly things--games, sports, bets--but nothing important. We're actually very supportive of one another. IP: Logged | |
