what is the significants of cutting planets... i was looking at my chart and venus/pluto cut my bowl...pluto is the leader....but what does that mean?8th house pluto scorp 2nd house venus taru IP: Logged |

If you visualize the Bowl to be moving in a clockwise direction, the planet leading the parade is called the "Cutting Planet" and as such needs additional analysis. Some astrologers call this the "planet in high focus." In our two examples, Mercury and Uranus would be the "Cutting Planets." http://www.astrologysoftware.com/resources/articles/getarticle.asp?ID=128 so what does that mean in terms of pluto being a "cutting planet", so i look at my chart with pluto as a main focus? i don't know what to do with the idea of "cutting" bowl planets. watson,It indicates you approach situations from a place of power and/or control (Pluto). Cutting planets are only a small part of astrology, so there are no books on it.
