PaidVacation, I'm feeling sad for you...I personally never had the pleasure of veiwing or participating in this particular site. I do however know how disheartening it feels to have a favorite disappear.
I do have a suggestion as to how to copy previous posts from there that just may work!
You go to Google.com search area
type in your used name at that old site.
Example:
If you went as "Johnnybegood" you would type into the search box:
[johnnybegood zodiacal.com]
or
[johnnybegood zodiacal.com/forum/]
or
[johnnybegood zodiacal.com/post]
or even try the TOPIC?
example:
[aspects zodiacal.com]
Then with a bit of luck, as it make take a few trys with different results. You will be shown search results which are really valid.
Then instead of clicking the direct link they give you in the headlines... look down a bit.... after the description theres a link that says "Cache page" this is where you will click.
You see, search bots such as at google actually take a picture snapshot of pages periodically and these are not stored at the site in which you posted, these will exist sometimes several months after a site has closed down.
I hope that this helps some to ease your sadness? Good luck to you
BTW, I already found that many of their indexes are still intact at the site itself through this method!
Ex: http://www.zodiacal.com/royalty/index.html
and forum tools still available like:
Ephemerides
http://www.zodiacal.com/ephemerides
Moon Calendar
http://zodiacal.com/tools/mooncal_2007.htm
oh, oh, BINGO!!!

And finally, as a last resort, you could plea with the webmaster of the site for more help in retaining copies of old posts by emailing here: zz@zodiacal.com
Sendin' love your way,
"your friend in spirit"
