Topic: The Gem who cannot confront

My boyfriend has always had major problems with confrontation. He cannot say no! He gets himself in these abusive relationships, and just takes hit after hit. His last girlfriend, Nicole, has done some serious damage on him. (she was an Aries sun with Leo rising - a liar, VERY dictorial, a true b*tch in every sense of the word)
But back to the point - How could he learn to stand up for himself? I've studied his chart and tried to get him to quit being used by controlling people. I really want to 1) not only help him but 2) understand the reason he's like this. Here's his chart, if you would like to see it:
 he's the most geniunely nice guy you'd ever meet in your life. I just don't understand why he won't stand up for himself!
I made him a collage of himself for his birthday (as a joke) because of his narcissism. guess i'll show it to you guys =)

Your such a sweet aqua for doing that collage for him.I'm glad your with a gem, i think that if both are wiling gem's and aquas rally do get along well. Now Whats his moon sign?? is it in pisces?? is he more of an emotional gem??. One of my gemini friends thats born one day before me, I was born on the 11th he was born on the 10th is so much more emotional then me that he ends up being used. I'm more logical then emotional. I was also thinking perhaps it could be sorta like the gemini nature of being drawn to someone that ignores you kinda thing, that draws him into that kinda relationship. if you understand what i mean, but theres so many possiblities why he's like that.

babeefox ~ i know, nicole really does give aries a bad name. I know plenty of ariens that use their fire in good ways though! she's just psychotic, i guess..TTB ~ Ted's birthday is the 10th! He just told me this on the phone: "I have two personalities. oh, and on the surface he is SO much different than in private. He's honestly two different people. When you first meet him, he's like a puppy you just want to kiss and hug and take home with you. Girls are extremely attracted to his innocent nature, it's like you subconciously just want to corrupt him!
He's just so d*mn versatile. He is good for me, though, because he keeps me guessing. I love a guy like that!------------------

He seems like a nice guy. I don't think that he has 2 different personalities... he's just very versatile. 2 of my best friends are Geminis... Geminis are just very versatile... people just misunderstand them...You being an Aqua and him a Gemini you both will be great together! Cheers IP: Logged |

His chart is nothing like mine....Other then being also being a gemini sun and also having mars in cancer.I analyse and use logic all the time...more often then i probbily should. I typed his birthdata in a software i use called World Of Wisdom tell me if i'm right on this...... Question for you?? does he feel the need to help people emotionaly???. Could it be possible that he likes helping
people emotionally, that he ends up getting hurt in the end??. Or drawn to people who take advantage of his niceness. Just my theory......

It's because of his Mars in Cancer. I have Mars in the 4th and it is similar. I can confront people (I am an Aries after all), but I'd rather not. Couldn't we all just get along? I mean, I am the kind of person that lets a petty argument go, even if it's detrimental for me, just for the sake of the general peace and harmony. I don't think it makes me a fool or a sucker, though I know other people would think that. But don't really care much about their opinion.
To tell you the truth, I like my Mars in Cancer (4th house) description much more than my Mars in Aries. I wouldn't want to change it for the world. IP: Logged |

i'm not so sure that he feels it's his duty to help people emotionally, but he doesn't like to put burdens on people.
for example- He turns down the music if we pass older people, leaves 15 dollar tips everytime we eat at a restaurant, smiles at everyone, holds the door and if i'm not there to pull him away, he becomes a doormat..
he works at a club, and the other night a group of drunk men told him to give them a ride home, which was 30 minutes away! He gladly said "sure" and so he left his job to take home 10 drunk slobs.
He's constantly doing things like this, and it seems like he'd see that he's being taken advantage of. I've tried to tell him this, but it doesn't help.I'm a person who purposely turns up music when there are old people around, doesn't hold the door for more than two people, and talks about my beliefs regardless of whose listening and who i might offend. so i'm just having a hard time understanding ted's ultra-sensative nature. yeah, it must be the Cancer in him. He's always telling me, "I love you, Kate. You take care of me like not even my own mother does. I could spend forever with you." maybe we're together so that we will help each other. i could benefit with having a little bit of his kindness, and he could my feistiness. here is my chart:

im a Gemini Scorpio rising LIbra and I used to have that problem all my life. People would just walk over me. I guess i got really tired one day and just went evil on everyone. But it is hard and i do get it.IP: Logged |
