During this retrograde Mercury period, did it seem to you people were giving a lot of unwanted advice? In a sort of confrontational, unsolicited, unnecessary and uninformed way, it seemed people went out of their way to advise total strangers, sometimes pursuing them to shout advice. At Mercury's SD, Vesta in Sagittarius is quincunx Mercury in Cancer. Could that have anything to do with it? I've seen a lot of bad advice given freely lately. Does this always happen when Mercury is retrograde? Does anyone associate natal Mercury retrograde or at stations with a tendency to advise others? There is such a thing as good advice, I know -- I just haven't heard much of it lately.

Welcome to LindaLand, enjoy the stay!

With regards to Mercury Retro, I never felt people were giving me bad/wrong advices, but people whom I really care for are all taking my words with a wrong intention!

sometimes it means that you are strong enough to let go

Thanks for the message of welcome! One person wanted me to give him the e-mail address of a person he doesn't know, in order to offer him advice and criticism. Well, nothing doing, I can't do that. The offender in that case has been busily offering advice throughout this Mercury retrograde period, including lecturing his doctor and the office nurse! Out of 7 pieces of advice I've seen given lately, one was excellent and sensitively offered, another was in part not bad and the rest were boorish and wrong.

Being misunderstood isn't too great either. As they say, listening is a skill!
