Hiya Junity! I also have my Sun in Taurus and Mars in Scorpio, (which is also retrograde, I might add!!!) You're not another 1984 baby are you?!?! Yes - I definitely can be aggressive. But mainly to my self. I don't self harm or anything, but I do have a self destruct button tucked away somewhere that I have to avoid like the plague! IP: Logged |

All Mars-Sun aspects can emphasize aggression. I have the square myself, and one of the main issues throughout the course of my life has been learning how to control that aggression and focus it on productive areas and pursuits. I've heard that that particular aspect...Mars opposite Sun...can mean that you may reject one or the other...You may:
1) Project it: and encounter extremely aggressive/bossy people, especially men 2) Reject it: And become completely unaggressive. You completely ignore the qualities of Mars, denying that you could ever be capable of anything related to the planets energies (meanwhile, usually projecting it onto other people..see 1) 3) Overcompensate: by ignoring your Sun, and living through the assertive, competitive world of your Mars...always on your toes, ready for a battle...ignoring a more placid Sun in Taurus...overshadowing it with a passionate and intense, yet self-destructive Mars in Scorpio (usually when you over compensate you get the best and worst of the sign & planet) 4) Accept it: and focus those energies wisely towards outlets where you can put them to good use

What would Mars conjunct Chiron in the 12th house(Taurus)indicate? Problems with suppressing anger maybe?I don't like to get angry and I try really hard to always get along w/ everyone.I don't wanna look like a B****!!I probably don't stand up for myself enough, because I worry what people will think. And yea...it takes a whole lot to get me earnestly p***** off.------------------ S:Taurus ASC:Gemini M:Scorpio ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 2007 Solar Return: S:Taurus ASC:Virgo M:Gemini IP: Logged |

if I may, I'd suggest a different perspective; also supported by the the very way you define your problem.planets in opp to the sun are traits one doesn't own/assume as personal, but projects onto others. mars is masculinity, aggresion, libido, drive. when you don't 'accept' your own masculinity/aggresion, it doesn't go away - instead, it finds ways to express itself and tricks yours will and control. ppl react to what IS there, boiling beneath the surface; what's missing is your own awareness and accpentance of who you are (as opposed to who you'd like to be)

I agree with alanabelle86, i've experienced all three situations in my life. I can't see to find balance between the two. My agression sea-saws between my Taurus Sun and Scorpio Mars (Retrograde)IP: Logged |

good topic lets take this one step further even if you don't have a Sun/Mars aspect when transiting Mars opposes your natal Sun you will deal with aggressive issues Moondreamer, I have noticed that with Chiron aspects they "stand back" or don't give themselves deserved credit, conjunct Mars and in the 12th house, wouldn't that fall under the person who can't say no and who is constantly being imposed upon? It would help to know what sign Mars/Chiron is in good insights Alanabelle and christiname edited: oops I just saw where Moondreamers Mars/Chiron is in Taurus. This placement does put up with a lot (more than most) but when they snap (rarely) they are the proverbial "Bull in a China shop" IP: Logged |

Mars conjunct Sun umm Pisces Sun Pisces Mars-actually people see me as aggressive-it takes me a loong time to relax if my 'aggression' arises...sun and moon in fire signs-i have a reputation as someone not to p&*%off- my eyes turn an intense shade of green-that is a clue i was going to try to post a chart and have you all check out my aggressive tendencies to see if I might be a danger actually. but STILL unable to post chart! Had an incident recently where I reflected on my sometimes "cold bloodedness"-been through a lot and try to indicate NO MORE-IP: Logged |
