I've read that in a relationship's chart (composite & Davison), the Sun and North Node point to the relationship's purpose and direction. But what does it mean when the two oppose one another? My initial thought would be a relationship that can't grow due to an intrinsic tug-of-war. But I have this aspect with my bf in both our Composite and our Davison, and we've both grown a lot through this relationship. I've certainly grown much more in this relationship than any previous one.

IQunk values conjunctions as well as oppositions to be very important regarding the Nodes.

I checked out that thread and you know I found it very interesting. It's right up my astrological alley. I got distracted by some interesting info about Black Moon Lilith though, but I think I'll pop back over there and see if anyone in that thread has any opinions on this aspect. Thanks for the suggestion. And you reminded me to do a search and read some of Iq's thoughts on this. I was away for a while and I had hoped that he would've returned in the meantime. I think I'm going through Iqhunk withdrawal.

You can also compare your natal Sun/NN placements to your composites to see further evidence of purpose and direction.

This will be especially true if there is a pattern in the aspects or house positions.
