Hello

My Venus is in Virgo and Venus is in retro and is currently in Virgo, right? What, pray tell, does that mean for me?

Hi Unmoved,

Here is a quote from a board that gives a little insight.

8th

"Well...The Venus/Saturn conjunction is gonna hit anyone full-swing that has Venus in Virgo. My Venus in Virgo is at 4 degrees/7th house (natal-wise), and both Saturn and Venus are already in my 7th house (transit-wise), but it feels like it's already went into effect for me. The whole Venus/Saturn deal is going to be like dealing with hard realizations in terms of your relationships. If you're in a rather restrictive relationship, then it'll be the time to break away from that, take a good look at yourself (as an individual) and how you affect relationships, to find the patterns in them, and what YOU, yourself, bring to the table to offer. It's like cleaning out the old and bringing in the new - after this period of time has passed, things will be based more on reality. So anything that was disillusioning or somewhat unclear to see, will be gone - whether it be a person, a relationship, or a part of you that you were unable to figure out before.

In general, Venus retrograde is a lot like Mercury retrograde in some ways. When it's in effect, it's unwise to get married or enter a binding partnership. It is, like Mercury retrograde, the time to step back and look things over. You can sometimes become a little reclusive as this happens, and withdraw a bit from those around you, as all partnerships, friendships, commitments, are observed and looked into carefully. It's a very introspective time.

No doubt, if you have your Venus in Virgo, no matter what degree, it's going to be rather intense, and affect you pretty deeply. It's just like if you're a Virgo or Gemini when Mercury retrograde comes around - you'll be the one whining the loudest, except here, you're less likely to do that, for obvious reasons.

On a side note: Yay for the Virgo stellium. I have Sun/Mercury/Venus in Virgo as well. =) Yep, yep...fun stuff."

Thank you very much 8thMoon, well, I have my work cut out for me then, don't i? I was feeling relaxed because Mercury just gave me a break and now Venus! Great!

Hmmm...

So, if you're still around, can you confirm this for me?

Am I correct in assuming that, if a couple had to enter a relationship now, and their Venus' are in Pisces and Gemini, it won't be as drastic as my experience will be (is), right? or will iI?

Hi Unmoved,

I think that there is a lot going on in terms of transits. I was just reading this page when I read your post.

I just made travel plans last night!

TRANSIT NOTES FOR 2007
Ø Restrict Travel Plans Over Summer/Fall 2007
Ø Stay Home, Plan for 2008, reduce debt
Ø Avoid too much socializing
Ø Wait to start new relationships until November 2007
Ø Maintain lower profile
Ø Use date of Venus' Morning Star (Aug. 18, 2007) for new affirmations, planning, reaching goals.
Ø Monitor Financial Markets, Plan for 2008

I do believe, however, that transits can be "overgeneralized." I have had some amazing things happen when things were supposed to be bad and vice versa. It depends a lot on the natal charts.

I would think that the Venus retrograde would affect everyone in different ways depending on what houses they are in, aspects, etc.

Here is a link to a thread posted by Mustang that tells what you might expect depending on your Venus placement.

Hope this helps!

I also have natal Venus in Virgo (retrograde and conjunct Sun)...but somehow I'm not feeling it... Are those in relationships supposed to feel the effects the most? I'm not currently in one, and to be honest, I'm not quite looking for one either. I have an event coming up and I feel like I should be on the prowl looking for someone (as a date) but I'm too lazy to go hunting, lol.

I wouldn't worry about travelling, but forwarned is forearmed, isn't it? So, at least if one is aware of what;s going on, one can tread carefully, you know.

Thank you very much 8th,

Much appreciated.
