I think it depends on your age , wisdom and what you have experience so far.I think over the years you could learn to control some traits.
But,I could be wrong.

Lets see, I'm a cancer who doesn't......
-wear my emotions on my sleeves (that's an abomination as a Cappy Asc...j/k but you get the idea)
-cling to people (I'm a virgo mooner so no way Jose) -want children (well this is actually depending on my mood at the time) -aspire to be a housewife and mother (I have more goals in life than just that) -think about money 24/7 and is not stingy with it unless on a tight budget. IP: Logged |

I am a scorp but I don't feel the need to get even with people. I think it's because I have a heavy sag influence (which I love}. If I have problems with someone or someone does me wrong I will not waste my energy being vindictive. Instead I walk away and try and learn from the situation.No desire to be embroiled in drama. Also, I am extremely compassionate .. maybe because I have a pisces moon... who knows, lol  IP: Logged |

Libra here:a) I AM NOT out to please everyone. Heck I'll defend my POV and my my stand till the end of time. b) I am not a Procastinator. I wouldn't be a manager for long if I were one Lol! c) No I am not bound by some sacred Libra code to form and stay in a partneship. If anything I am an individualist; a Lone Wolf. Interesting Xodian.....my daughter is a libra sun and she can be diplomatic however most of the time she chooses not to be...she is also definetly clear on her emotional boundaries in relationships. No clinging allowed! I always blamed it on her aquarius moon in the first house (although that certainly creates some strong emotions, that she is not pleased about having) and Uranus conjunct the ascendant...and venus in virgo squaring Uranus.
Myself....I am an awfully emotionally aquarius...but mercury/mars/chiron are in pisces w/ scorpio ascendant and cancer moon. Contrary to my cancer moon though...I HATE COOKING! However, I do love to eat. I have been a career stay at home mom but aside from wanting to be there for my kids... I'm far too domesticated for my tastes (cappy venus).
The birth chart is sometimes such a bundle of contradictions isn't it?IP: Logged |

I'm a Gemini...1) I'm very honest and must force myself to be tactful with people
2) I'm very quiet (though I become more outgoing after a while)
3) I'm not a flirt
4) I appear emotionally aloof like a gemini, but I'm deeply passionate

I'm Leo.I hate being on stage, even though if i have to give a presentation i become bold enough to do it well (thanks to my Aries Mars in 10th house). I never feel, or want to be the Queen of the jungle / office / school. In fact i'm often just one of the crowd. Quite self-critical too. But the rest is pure leo, fun and pleasure at the center... I am a Cancer sun, mercury and mars:
Marriage, motherhood and money are definatly NOT NOT NOT of interest to me.Surely i might get married one day and it would be amazing to be a mum but im not at ALL obsessed with the ideas. Money can mean you can travel which is all i care about it for. I can live quite easily/happily with little 'stuff'. I am not neccesarily looking for a man who can be a good provider, is academically successful and ambitious at all! Security and Stability have NEVER been apart of my life but i have never desired them to. I dont need security i like to 'put myself out there'. (Moon opp Uranus) Overall i suppose it just goes to show how much we need to take other signs/aspects into account and never look at just the sun sign.

I'm a Pisces and I've actually been told by guys that I've dated that I'm too independant!Also...we're supposed to be rather mysterious and my facial expressions are the easiest read on the planet. Can't hide how I feel about something if I tried. I also have Gemini moon and can't lie either. I may tell a fish tale or exaggerate for the sake of humor, but an outright lie is a no no! I cant lie I do generally fit the description of a typical Cancer.. but chances are Im usually the only person that will notice... many people mistake me for a different sign.. -I do tend to worry about money a bit.. - I am pretty emotional but try to keep it under wraps - I am pretty good at cooking - I am sensual and somewhat feminine..
