I was just telling my coworker (she's a tarot card reader/into astrology) my signs. And she was very cryptic about her thoughts.
She said "well, that explains a lot!" so I asked her to elaborate, and she said that the aqua was obvious by my demeanor(she's an aqua too)... she said that she could SEE my gemini side in my neatness, orderly and organized.

She also said it's a very "interesting" pairing and hard to "overcome"?! I don't get it? What's wrong wtih aqua/gemini!??!?!

Hi!

Nothing at all wrong with that combination, she sounds like someone who sounds a bit judgemental.

This is from http://www.astrology-numerology.com/sun-moon11.html

with my capricorn/virgo combination I'd love to have a bit of your aquarius/gemini :-)....

11-3 Aquarius/Gemini
Your Sun and Moon combined produces, quite surprisingly, a romantic personality. Idealism is strong, mixed with some critical tendencies. A romantic, but definitely living more by your mind that by your senses. You dramatize life and yourself, often expanding and enhancing the facts of a matter, idealizing love affairs and life in general. You rarely exclude much of the fat from your stories. The Aquarius/Gemini mix yields a very harmonious and versatile combination, blending the independence and originality of the Aquarius, with the wit, versatility, and intellectuality of Gemini. Intellectually you are quick, apt, and intuitive, but with a tendency to skim only the surface of most subjects you encounter. In the real world business, this can be a handicap. Your attention span is rather short. It's hard to pin you down to reality, and you can easily find yourself drifting in life. If this is not so in business, then it probably is in your personal life. Having and holding a fixed purpose can be a problem. Actually, however, your nature is truly much more fixed than it appears. Success depends on emphasizing the decisive potential in your nature, and becoming involved in some form of creative activity that allows you to express yourself mentally. You put facts and ideas together so quickly that you are a natural for advertising, writing, public speaking, or in just about any kind of job that allows you to live by your wit. You tire easily of routine and detail. There is a duality in your nature that shows rapid changes in moods and attitudes. You change your mind often and abruptly. Companionship is extremely important to you. You need someone to talk to constantly, and that someone must be mentally compatible and stimulating to your intellectual growth and cultural achievement.

I guess the only downside is that you may appear aloof emotionally at least based on the sun and moon combination.

Each sun/moon combination has its strengths and weaknesses, so there is no ideal combination. There's absolutely nothing wrong with being an Aqua/Gem. In my opinion, it can make a person very charming.

It's not a bad placement combo at all however I find Gemini Sun/Aquarius Moon to be a more harmonious combo than Aquarius Sun/Gemini Moon. I like people who have their Sun and Moon in the same element. I am a Sagittarius Sun and Leo Moon.

Nothing is wrong with Aqua/Gemini. Ignore her statements. Cryptic thoughts and responses such as these indicate she doesn't know astrology well enough to be interpreting it in a useful way -- especially without your chart to look at.

Never give any credibility to such statements on astrology when the person is not even educated by your actual birth chart.

I have Sun in Aqua/Moon in Gemini

I think we're the best lol

This really makes someone passionate about ideas and a lover of all things intellectual. Gemini Moon picks up so much information and learns from so many different places which feeds the Sun in Aquarius. We do need a lot of mental stimulation than most, so any friendships or relationships where the other person doesn't enjoy communicating as much as we do is not going to last. More importantly, we need someone that's 100% open-minded about everything and not afraid explore all possibilities. With the detachedness of Aquarius and changeability of Gemini, we do tend to get over things pretty fast. Respect and seeing everyone as an equal is number one, so anybody that makes us feel less than OR if we witness others treating somebody as less than human, really disturbs us. Sometimes there is a coldness about us that we may not notice, but others will pick up on. It's not that we mean harm, but we live so much in our minds that we forget to acknowledge those around us.

There's about as much wrong with an Aqua Sun/Gemini Moon as there is with a Virgo Sun/Gemini Moon (which is what I have). Meaning...there's nothing wrong! I would ignore her.

ETA: I just realized that the original post is from 2007. Wow.
