ARIESPINK unregistered	posted August 03, 2007 09:54 AM Just trying to find out how plants conjunct the Ascendant would affect one's appearance. I have read that when Mars is conjunct the Ascendant, one would have dark hair and if Venus is conjunct the Ascendant, one is supposed to very attractive looking. Just looking for details on height as well as it seems that with some conjunctions, it can make a person taller or smaller. Would love to hear replies. IP: Logged

Can't stress that enough. I draw a lot of unnecessary and unwanted attention to myself because of it. A lot of men have told me that they found me intimidating until they talked to me. I think I come across as very bold and confident which is a false representation. Deep down I have plenty of insecurities. As far as appearance goes...I don't know. I've always had long blonde hair. A lot of times I'm tan. Perhaps since it's Jupiter, my weight always fluctuates. I can get chubby or downright skinny. I've always had lean legs though. IP: Logged

For example, a person with the Sun conjunct the AC would be confident, self-assured, and exude this through their demeanor. Physically, the one thing that would stand out most is the hair, being that it'll be very thick, and beautiful...like a Lion's mane. Mercury would give a person the traits of Gemini/Virgo, ...restlessness, a cerebral quality about them...also it may slim the figure/stature...and the person may have smaller yet detailed features, especially in the face.. Venus would make someone attractive and alluring to others. Look up the qualities of the rising signs assocated with the planet that is conjunct the AC. Another example: I have Saturn (Uranus is there too...but Saturn is closer in orb). In Saturnine fashion, I've got prominent bone structure in my face.. (when my love for indulgence doesn't make my cheeks drown them out with extra flubb...gotta love a Saggy AC). Another Saturnine trait: I've always looked much older as a child, but as I've aged..I appear younger than my true age. Uranus has increased my height, further defined my bone structure. I've been told I have androgynous features...but not as harshly as some others with Aquarius AC or Uranus conjunct. My features are not angular like one would expect of a double Scorp and I have dimples and nice teeth, but my eyes are all Scorp. I've been told many, many times I have an intense/intimidating gaze. Yes, that unforgettable Scorpio face I have Moon and Mercury both conjunct the AC (but from the 12th) and Venus and Mars sextiling it. Of all the listed aspects, only the Mercury seems relevant as I like chatter and arguing. One of my friends has Jupiter conjunct her AC and she has the whole dramatic demeanor thing going, but then she's a sun Leo so it fits pretty well. IP: Logged
ErickaF unregistered	posted August 12, 2007 10:59 AM Venus on the ASC are always good looking and warm...in my opionion. I have sun on the ASC and I think it makes me also pleasant and warm but thats what I've been told but I do have those scorpio eyes. IP: Logged

I think having to look at placements matters, my Sun is in the 12th house, I do not exude any of the examples listed above. My Sun/Asc are both Libra and I am not a beautiful person, passingly attractive, maybe. I think in this case it's a more than meets the eye. IP: Logged

It's different than having the Sun conjunct the AC from the 1st. Generally, deep down, you are self-aware. It's the job of the 12th house to make you feel as if you're not. As if you don't have confidence, as if you're not self-assured, etc. The Sun conj. the AC shows that you have the ability to develop a great understanding of inner self and motivations. The fact that the Sun is approaching the point of light or revelation (AC- bringing things out in the open) from the darkness and confusion of the 12th house just shows that you may not be fully aware of this yet and that the qualities may be quite "watered" down and diluted until you develop the faculties that are needed to fully embrace this part of your self. ciao unregistered	posted August 12, 2007 11:14 PM I know that Venus conjunct the Ascendant is supposed to make one very attractive...but I know one such person who has this and isn't very easy on the eyes . She's got a Gemini Asc conjunct her Venus in the 1st by 2 degrees, feature-wise, it's less than stellar but she does have very beautiful skin. I've read that having Venus in the 1st is supposed to make one very charming too, but not many people like her when they first meet her. I too was hesitant about her character in the beginning. Come to think of it, I still question her character today. I guess she must have something else in her chart that negates this. My brother has Uranus conjunct his Asc in the 1st, and he does have a bit of an asymetry thing going on, but a lot of people say he is very attractive. He's got Neptune in the 1st but not conjunct...a man of very few words, but when Uranus acts up, he says the most outrageous things that makes the room go amok with laughter. It's an odd combo really. And he's quite tall, about 6 ft considering how short my family is. I've got Saturn conjunct my Asc from the 12th and I seem to have a very melancholy expression and nice bone structure, or so I'm told. But height-wise, I daresay he denied me. Jupiter isn't conjunct my Ascendant, but it is in my 1st house. My weight fluctuates but my legs are usually pretty lean when everything else decides to expand, lol. IP: Logged
Lady Neptune unregistered	posted August 13, 2007 12:40 AM I have neptune conjunct ascendant (in scorpio) and I am very quiet and private. My daughter has Uranus conjunct ascendant (asc in sag/uranus in cap) but she also has saturn/neptune/moon/north node in 1st house.....hard to know what affects her the most between 4 planets and 3 signs. About rich is not true, because I have lost all my money for my health. Because of health, my Part of Sickness is in conjunction with my retrograde Jupiter, what means my steady pains are from the Past life. I have made Regression (without hypnosis) and there I was hanging-up myself in North England. let ther b light Newflake Posts: 1 From: Registered: Apr 2009	posted August 13, 2007 07:37 AM i have uranus conjunct my ascendant. i read somewhere that it gives you longer limbs than normal....and i do have longer limbs. i'm not sure how else it affects the appearance but i am naturally slim and have difficulty in putting on weight. i work out to build my appetite!! ...so i can put on a couple of kilos!!
