I was reading the book "Soul Mates & Hot Dates" by Maria Shaw,and in it she says that people born under the sun sign Scorpio have a special kind of Karma.They don't have to wait until their next incarnation to pay it back/be paid back.She gave an example of going to dinner w/ her male Scorpio friend and he skipped out on the bill.On their way home he gets pulled over and recieves a ticket for the exact amount of their dinner bill.Anyway,this got me to thinking...would this affect ANY planet you have in Scorpio in your chart?For example,I have a Scorpio Moon natally...does this mean that my "emotional" issues will be dealt with during this lifetime?If I treat others good,then I won't have to wait until my next lifetime to recieve payment for that debt?Likewise if I'm emotionally cold to someone,would this mean that before I die,I will repay them for whatever emotional damage I caused?Just something I was pondering....
I'd love to get y'alls opinions/experiences.

If Karma for Scorpios was that instantanious then Hitler should have instantaniously died the brutal, tortorous and slow death he subjected upon thousands in the concentration camps.

Instead he got a clean quick death and is rememered through out the history books, unlike so many of those who died in the camps.

This is interesting, I really haven't noticed or seen that about Scorpio before, and I have a bunch of family members that are Scorpio along with friends and co-workers...that happens alot to me personally(where karma hits me in the face quick)along with a few catch 22's...and I have no planets in Scorpio, but I do have Mars in 1st along with Mars conjunction Ascendant, Pluto square Ascendant, Sun conjunction Pluto, Mars square Pluto, and Sun square Mars.

That's an interesting question, Moondreamer. Well, I have Pluto and Saturn in Scorpio (both are in my 10th house) and I've been to hell and back more times than I count. The better I treat people, the more pain I have to endure and this pain tends to revolve around my career and aspirations. I guess I have reverse karma, which sucks.

Xodian, I thought Hilter was a Taurus sun with a capricorn moon? According to astrotheme, Scorpio and Pluto aren't even close to being dominant.

Really? I thought he was a Capricorn Asc. Scorpio Sun... Hmmm, this needs a bit of research.

Yeah Hitler was a Taurus. (not sure about his rising sign though).

Well I'm a Scorpio moon and I'm not sure about instant karma affecting me - I've usually experienced things as, if something bad happens to me then I see the good reason for it usually something good happens as a result. I think that may be connected with me being a Sag rising. I also believe that if I do good, then good things will come back to me - so that's generally how I try to live.

This is really interesting. I am a scorp sun and I don't have good karma. In fact, I help people a lot and in return I haven't been able to get a job in the last year- which is the least of my problems. So I too must have some kind of reverse karma. But, actually, maybe I am paying back some bad karma from another life, and it is all being smacked at me in this lifetime so I don't have to deal with it in the next? Is that what you mean?

Do you think it's part of the Scorpio-ness to view things negatively? So that we *feel* more like we are affected by negative karma than other signs? I know three Scorpio suns who are always saying negative things, and with my Scorpio moon I often have the tendency to think negatively or in terms of a worst-case scenario. My Sag rising has always pulled me through but in the last couple of years with Saturn squaring Scorpio it's been much more difficult.

No... wait... isn't Saturn squaring Sagittarius? (That would most definitely represent how I've been feeling). Now I'm confusing myself about what aspect Saturn is making... squaring Scorpio, or Sag? If it's in Leo it must be trining Sag? Woah... it's trining my ascendant... wth does that mean? And when it squares my ascendant wth then!!! Good lord.

As "out there" as it sounds... it is true.

I think Capricorns always pay their dues... I am also beginning to think that maybe they are karma dealers themselves.

Edit: I just read all of the other responses. I don't believe my debt payment works the same way.

I've just never been able to get away with being dishonest, mean, manipulative, etc. without it coming back to me.

Regarding the emotional coldness to a person. From what I've experienced it won't have to be that particular person... you just may receive the same treatment from someone else... possibly (in all of my personal experiences) to an extent that you realize how hurtful it can be.

1scorp, I'm with you there, I always thought instant Karma was more of a Cap thing. I've had my fair share FOR SURE, and I assure you it is as instant as you can imagine. I always thought that was Saturn's way of shaping you into a more responsible individual.

I'm much too afraid of "getting caught" now to do much of anything too fun, or too crazy. I ALWAYS think of consequences. Probably too much now, but I started getting the smack down from Saturn in my early teens.

I think that my Capricorn friend (as much as he refuses to believe in anything he can't touch) and I realize and respect this about each other. We both know that neither of us has had an easy time getting anything or anywhere... at least we have to be honest in our dealings... unless we want to pay for it sooner or later. (Usually sooner)

1scorp, I completely understand where you're coming from.

I don't know if it's all the fire in my chart or what, but I wasn't ALWAYS a careful, "no fun" Cap. I used to be WILD. But, wow, I could run down a LONG, painful list of instant Karma incidents that I had in my formidable years...if it wasn't so darn personal.

Now, it's like I'm literally afraid to "live a little." I know I will never, EVER have anything just handed to me. I will have to work my rear end off for whatever I get. I'm even afraid to break up with boyfriends sometimes because I figure if I hurt them it will come back to haunt me. I've become too paranoid about it I think.

I think being silly doesn't work in his favor. I'll come up with some off the wall idea and if he does it... he really has to work for it and put up with so much that it sucks the fun out of it for him.

LMAO!!! Me too...I'm the same way. It's like, "You can't MAKE this sh*t up! No one can have luck this bad!" Well, I do.

I can't tell you how many times I've had my car broken into. One of those times just HAPPENED to be the one and ONLY time in my life that I left my purse in my car. Go figure?

I've been robbed numerous times. One of the times, I had my purse stolen from my ex boyfriend's apartment. They also took his checkbook (he's a Gemini), and his roommates checkbook (he was a Scorpio). Guess who's checks they ended up using the most of and who had the worst time sorting everything out with their bank. Yep, me. I couldn't even write a check for 6 months because the checks that were reported stolen aren't connected to the checking account number, but to your driver's license number. So, I was blocked from writing checks for months. It was awful.

Saturn lesson learned: Don't leave your purse on the coffee table while the backdoor is unlocked...even if you're just upstairs, wide awake.

I got a wakeup when my ascendent in sagg moved into cap in progressed chart. From luck, laid back in routine and everybody wanted to be around you. Now "no" "no" but I have always done that !NO! Now you are in cap and have to work. My life as freelancer smoked weed all day, and with out any sort of ruotine, then suddenaly cap... WHAT ARE YOU DOING

Bad luck isn't the same as Karma.

As a Scorp, I do think we can have instant Karma and that's why whenever I find money, I try to find the owner. 100% of the time if I give the money back or whatever very shortly I will find money I lost or I will win cash for like 2 to 3 times the amount I gave back.

Also, if you have been around long enough as a Scorp you know lying or cheating will be dealt with in this life for sure and it will be worse. Probably why many of us try to be fair and upfront--we don't want Karma biting us on the behind. Because it will happen.

As a scorp I can verify that this is true, I was always amazed at how the thing I did wrong was the very thing that initiated a negative consequence. Always in some round-about way.

Also, my cap friend has terrible luck which Ive seen in action multiple times. He told me a story once about how everything was going wrong one day. He was totally fed up when he got home and he sits in his computer chair and it just breaks, landing him on the ground(hes not a heavy guy). Very funny story to me.

I'm a Scorpio and I remember begging my mom to let me stay home from school, she agreed... the next day i got sick. I took it as a sign, i only play a sick day if i'm really under the weather or if its really drastic.

interesting topic! i am scorpio rising and scorpio moon. i am finding that karma does come back to me & i have had a very difficult life because of it. but it centers me and equalizes my intentions. i love being a scorp. there is so much power in change.
