Hello! I just discovered today saturn aspects to chiron. I noticed my chiron (taurus 21 degrees) is sqaured my SO's saturn Leo 13 degrees. I've read that as far as marriage its an 'impossible dream', like heart-break. I studied some long-lastin celebrity couples that have this aspect (beckhams, kevin kline & pheobe cates and others). Here is a quote from: http://relationships.articlesmaker.com/relationships/chiron-and-her-secrets-to-your-relationships.html
"Now the one to really look out for is Saturn. This one can be mighty frustrating. You can have all the wonderful synastry in the world, but if Saturn is in a challenging aspect to your Chiron or vice versa then you have a problem. One or the other person will seemingly have control over the relationship and he or she could also in the long run break your heart. The aspects to look out for are the conjunction, inconjunct, square, opposition and in the declinations the contra parallel. Now the conjunction can also be a good thing too, it can mean a long term relationship, but the person who is the Saturn person still has some degree of control over the relationship in some way."

Also my SO's chiron's trine my Venus & Mars. I feel bad because I don't want to hurt him in anyway if we do last longer.
What is your experience with this??

I don't have much knowledge of this... is it Magi astrology?

Me and my bf's Chiron is in Aries, my Saturn in Cancer and his Saturn in Taurus. I think then, that my Saturn squares his Chiron.

Chiron was in Aries for a long time, and Saturn was in Cancer for a long time, so I'm likely to have this aspect with many men around my age. Oh well.

I just checked and these are our Chiron aspects:

His Chiron:
Sextile my Venus
Conjunct my Jupiter
Square my Saturn
Trine my Neptune
Opposite my Pluto (oh joy - lol)
Also semisextile my Moon and Mars

My Chiron:
Sextile his Sun
Sextile his Mercury
Conjunct his Moon
Conjunct his ascendant

I don't know how much emphasis I would place on Chiron really...

Not sure if its Magi Astrology! Is that important to know?? Any one else know about this aspect??? We have a pretty good synastry chart but that aspect caught my attention! Lots of successful couples I've read about have this aspect...so I don't know how devastating this could be...sounds like it :-(

Thanks for the link, Zala. Looks like selecting the right wedding date is important - something I would keep in mind. However, as far as synastry aspects go, I'm not sure about going out of one's way to avoid heartbreak... every person comes into our life for a reason, so to avoid getting involved with them because of an astrological aspect must surely restrict our ability to grow as people. Better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all.

Good to know! I am glad this aspect isn't so bad...I will make sure when we marry to check out the saturn-chiron transits.

Isn't it a great quote, Zala? Even though I've had heartbreak I've still been enriched by having the experience of being with that person.

Plus I have Saturn square Chiron natally, so maybe I can't avoid it.

Well how would this aspect affect the couple if it is shown up in the composite chart?? I don't have this but my best friend has this with her partner, just wondering!
