My dad's chart shows that both his 6th and 12th houses span two whole signs (using placidus at astro.com) I've looked through the books I have and googled but can't find any explantion as to the significance of this - or maybe there is no real significance? 6th house being daily work/service - the cusp is at 2" Libra and spans across Scorpio ending at 1" Sag. He has always worked menial jobs from the age of 11 til he stopped working at 60 due to his ill health. His 12th house cusp is 2" Aries and spans across Taurus ending at 1" Gemini. Neither houses hold any planets but Vertex and Juno are in 6th and Ceres is in 12th. I can't post chart but his data is 23/08/1942 - 11pm: Surbiton, England. Any input, however brief is appreciated. It said that the sign in which the house begins is the only sign that resembles how you are towards the matters of that house. But personally, I think that all the signs (parts of the signs) that are in a house counts. Specially if you have planets in that/those sign(s). Taking the transits for example.. Imagine that you have Leo DC, but your 7th house ends in the end of Virgo. So any transiting planets that are in the sign of Virgo, as long as they are passing through your 7th house, it also affects your relationship matters, even if it's not the cusp sign itself.IP: Logged |

I also think that intercepted signs are definitely important; they are the co-ruler of the houses and deserve our attention. In my case I have Pisces intercepted in the 3rd house, and my chartruler Jupiter is there in intercepted Pisces, it is VERY prominent in my horoscope. It`s a bit like at first you see Uranus, who rules the cusp of my 3rd house, but underneath this Uranus carries my Jupiter in 3rd house in Pisces along, which at times even overrides the Uranian influence.
