I have a moon sign with 03 degrees in sagittarius in the 4th house. Does this mean that i have a moon that is a scorpio-sagitarius cusp? Also have mars (scorpio) in third house. IP: Logged |

No. It means your moon is in Sagittarius. Whatever sign your moon is in, it's in. To be considered on a cusp it's usually in the 29, 00, or 01 degree of a sign.

So if someone's moon were a cusp. What would that mean?IP: Logged |

Is that for any planet or just the moon?

Every planet. The Sun gets the most latitude with the term 'cusp,' but the planet is in whatever sign it's in, and not in the next or previous sign. If you read about the 29th degree, you'll find that astrologers say that instead of transitioning into the next sign, the planet actually displays the sign it's in to a pronounced degree. House cusps are a different story. If a planet lies at the end of a house, then sometimes it gets an additional interpretation for the next house. IP: Logged |

Thanks. I have quite a few planets in a critical degree. My Pluto in virgo at 29 degrees, my mars in sagittarius at 0 degrees, and my Jupiter in sagittarius at 1 degree. Then, I have a few planets at the end of a house...my saturn in the 12th/1st and my Pluto in the 5th/6th. Since Pluto is a generational planet, I don't think the sign matters oh-so-much for an individual chart. Same with Jupiter. The mars is another story, though. So, it's either a heightened mars in sagittarius or more of a mars in scorpio, then? It's so hard for me to rule out a planet in sagittarius, because I have so much sag in my chart, and that makes it a big part of me and my personality. Could there be a cusp-like combining of both signs, like the OP asked? ------------------ Sun Aqua, Moon Sagg, Asc Taurus IP: Logged |

I think she meant 0.3 degrees, rather than 3 degrees. Is it not possible to be born just as the Moon is transiting between signs? Although obviously rare. How long does it take to ransit from being completely in one sign to completely in the next is a pertainent question. Yours Sincerely, The Greatest Cool Dude on the Forum Thanks. ------------------ 4th December 1974 18:00GMT Isle of Wight U.K marsconjunctmercury@yahoo.co.uk neutralcruiser@hotmail.co.uk IP: Logged |
